I was going to buy this game today, but after using the benchmark tool and discovering that I can only play on high settings at 1440p with 50% FSR and seeing this video, I have decided to wait until I upgrade my PC soon. This game deserves to be played like this. Normally I wouldn't care. But this is a rare game. I don't want to say masterpiece before even playing it, but this already strikes me as a game that will be remembered. This is the first new game Ive actually been excited to play since Doom Eternal.

The game shows that genuine reverence to source material can achieve amazing outcomes, unlike the case of recent shallow adaptations made in the west of Tolkien and other authors.
I am from India. I don't why I find too much resemblance with an old legendery character in our epics, called "Lord Hanuman". May be the game or source material of the game got some inspiration from that character. But I'm not sure.
It's insane that a game with the same level of quality and polishing as God of War 2018 and Ragnarok was done in less time, with a smaller budget and smaller studio than Santa Monica. I already noticed that with Stellar Blade but these small developers from the East are competing with Western AAA devs who have everything any dev can wish
Ikr! I initially gave this game a 9/10 rating, one star retracted for disincluding the actual story. Then I saw this video with the game in its highest graphics setting and am blown away. Never seen a game look this realistic in my life. It deserves a 9.5+/10 at least. I heard the game is also an unfinished product. It was supposed to be 12 chapters, but the dev team were short on time and money so they had to cut it to 6 chapters. Imagine what else could've been added in those lost 6 chapters, probably some really good cut scenes.
Currently playing ghost of tsushima and already very satisfied with the game and its mechanism. But this game looks way better than that. Can't wait to play this masterpiece.
It's the lighting in Unreal 5. Though the updated engine isn't used but if it was it would look much better. Hate to see how it runs on my 5120 x 1440p monitor : / with a 6800XT

Same. I recently discovered this game and my soul just sank. I loved this series as a kid and seeing it come to life in this game was like a blessing. Ironically I'm not a gamer myself, but Black Myth gave Wukong the best character out of every adaptation I seen. I'm almost disappointed this wasn't made into a CGI movie. Seeing more of his story in the developer's style would've been so epic to watch.

For those comparing the game to Elden Ring, nothing like it to be honest. I've just got the Plat on PS5, really enjoyed the game but i'd say overall gameplay/upgrade system is more similar to God Of War 18. Challenging boss battles particularly end of chapters / secret areas. Really enjoyed the game overall and completed 2 full playthroughs but don't go into it expecting a full Soulslike experience and just enjoy the game for what it is.
A little tip from a 4090 owner: Set your resolution to 3840x1920 in NVIDIA Control and you can play good with maxed out and DLSS quality. The effect is a bit like movie stripes.

you guys.. you have several mods that can enhance your experience.. if you have a rtx card but can't play this game normally (even on a 'high end' system) , then you can download some mods that enhance the frame rates and what not.
Guys… the game just go release so it is not optimised so wait for some patch and updating… The RX 7900XTX also have a big issues about compatibility and it can’t even run it at 30 fps lol, so we all have to be patient.
With PS5 Pro pricing being what it is, you're getting close to the cost of a decent PC that has MUCH more versatility. If you want plug-and-play, get the PS5. With a console you box yourself in though in terms of titles you can play.
It is best not to turn on Frame Generation. It will make the picture not smooth and have a strange feeling of skipping frames. In fact, the 100 frames you record will feel worse than 50 frames. Many reviewers have mentioned this. In addition, have you installed the latest driver 560.94? 100 frames is probably the frame rate before the driver was updated. The new driver will optimize these problems.
@@jmgonzales7701 As far as i know, DLSS is only available for cards from series 2000 upwards, if Space Marines 2 supports FSR 3.0 then that will definitely help you, but honestly it will be a pretty uncomfortable experience

Full ray tracing at 4K 120fps??! on the Geforce RTX 4090 24GB looks buttery smooth in real time. Kills the PS5 version, which was my 2nd option, but I think I'll stay on PC and up the ram to 32gbX2 cards Corsair Vengeance PRO and get a Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition 24GB GDDR6X. Running "Cinematic" option is crazzyy! But totally worth it for the gaming experience if you got the cash! My Geforce RTX 3060Ti GDDR4 can't handle the game. Capped at FullHD 60fps.
I don't know if its just me, i feel that the hits don't connect satisfactorily, the effects are good like the ground pound and everything but when the staff connects the other entity its just like a small spray of red mist comes out and some entities don't even flinch a bit!
maximum setting is without dlss by the way. and honestly it would look better without dlss, and you can turn off rtx to compensate the loose of performance, because lumen does a pretty good job.
The xbox series s probably locked this at 30fps 1080p on the ps5 tho it might be like 1440p upscaled to 4k etc on performance mode and 4k native 30fps quality mode

Those Temps pretty low for 4090. Mine easily touches 70.
Non oc 4090. Clocks at 2700mhz is quite easy to cool. 10% increase in perf just waiting on the table. 😮
Mine sits at 75c/hotspot 84c at 2940mhz.
Don't worry my 4090 gamerock can go to 70° when hitting 100% at 400W

It is best not to turn on Frame Generation. It will make the picture not smooth and have a strange feeling of skipping frames. In fact, the 100 frames you record will feel worse than 50 frames. Many reviewers have mentioned this. In addition, have you installed the latest driver 560.94? 100 frames is probably the frame rate before the driver was updated. The new driver will optimize these problems.

The dlss ghosting is awful
Can dlss save me with space marines 2 at gtx 1050 ti and very very low graphics
@@jmgonzales7701 As far as i know, DLSS is only available for cards from series 2000 upwards, if Space Marines 2 supports FSR 3.0 then that will definitely help you, but honestly it will be a pretty uncomfortable experience

Great game, but the lip syncing is terrible.... I had to check other peoples content to make sure I wasn't alone, you're number 3 so I am gonna say its a game issue 🤣🤣
I have similar PC but with a i9 14900k.... surprised an i5 is performing that well tbh, but it is 4k so lol
The lip sync is for Chinese. They didn't redo it for English. Not even a big deal, kind of adds charm I think.

Full ray tracing at 4K 120fps??! on the Geforce RTX 4090 24GB looks buttery smooth in real time. Kills the PS5 version, which was my 2nd option, but I think I'll stay on PC and up the ram to 32gbX2 cards Corsair Vengeance PRO and get a Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition 24GB GDDR6X. Running "Cinematic" option is crazzyy! But totally worth it for the gaming experience if you got the cash! My Geforce RTX 3060Ti GDDR4 can't handle the game. Capped at FullHD 60fps.

I don't know if its just me, i feel that the hits don't connect satisfactorily, the effects are good like the ground pound and everything but when the staff connects the other entity its just like a small spray of red mist comes out and some entities don't even flinch a bit!

maximum setting is without dlss by the way. and honestly it would look better without dlss, and you can turn off rtx to compensate the loose of performance, because lumen does a pretty good job.

The xbox series s probably locked this at 30fps 1080p on the ps5 tho it might be like 1440p upscaled to 4k etc on performance mode and 4k native 30fps quality mode
