Is it recommended to use extra underlay under the underfloor heating mat if i am using luxury vinyl planks with built-in underlay which is only 1mm thick? Thanks
Hi I have a question. I have a 16 amp MCB supplying a downflow heater in the bathroom at 2kw which is around maybe 5 metres away from the consumer unit. Which is then connected to fcu presumably with a 13 amp fuse in it. What I would like to do is split that and put that leg in a junction box bring two feeds off it one for a 1kw radiator and 1 for underfloor heating of around 350w - 500w max would this be adequate if I use 2.5 mm twin & earth which is lower than the current 2kw downflow heater and they'd both have their separate fcu for the connection to the individual heaters
Nice video. As a trainee spark, I've just learnt something new. I love your accent too. Especially when you say 'neutral'. Its sounds like 'Neo-traal' 😂😂😂😂. Where are you from?
Hello I am in process of installing water underfloor heating. As part of the project the contractor is also moving the boiler from kichen to garage. My question is when the project completed what kind of certificate and documentation should I get for the underfloor heating installation and for moving the boiler for my future record. Can you please list out what should I get from the company on completion please. Thanks,
Thanks for the video! I am interested if the 140w system like this is sufficient enough to heat up the room in the colder months as the main heating source? Would you be able to share your experiences? How long does it take to warm up? Thanks!
Hi, nice video. But you mentioned nothing about the vapor barrier foil that protects against moisture. Do these boards already have such a moisture barrier?
I am going to have to put a thin layer of under laminate foam on top of my insulation because the type I bought is too HARD as its IMPORTANT that the mat/wire element can mould into the insulation to stop the wood/laminate bearing on the wire to much!
Fantastic video. Just about to install this product and this is 10X better than the manufacturer's instructions. Thanks.
Great video and descriptions. More helpful than the prowarm video on their website. Thank you very much 👍
Cheers, I really like your videos. Nice and clear and appear to hit the DIY topics I'm involved with.

Hi, thank you so much for this video. I need to know how to install on vinyl, please.
Great videos and you go explain well, can you make a basic video on sharpening wood chisels with an oil stone?
did you say you put underlay straight on a carpet floor?

Yes. It would work perfectly. I am using similar from last 6 years and works nicely
@@SS-zb4ngis it more efficient to heat your room than your normal heating?
Does this work for hardwood flooring specifically bamboo floor ?
Has anyone had issues with their floor (laminate or engineered wood floating floors) expanding or cracking with this type of underfloor heating?

Hi, enyone knows what are running costs of electric underfloor heating vs traditional gas boiler + radiators system?
Can the cold tail (power cord) be fitted in the insulation UNDERNEATH the heating mats??
Cut a groove in the insulation mat similar to when installing the thermal sensor.
Nice vid👌
Thanks Charles
Can you put tiles on top
could I just point out that one should not hold the live/ neutral probes with the fingers (3.20) as a false reading could be given
Tripe, the discrepancy meter reading would not be worth bothering about, the man did good, ohh that was a very sexy meter, Spark HND...

Not needed mate! I’ve laid my heated mats on top of 6mm ply wood and is absolutely fine !
You have not explained how you have to lay the flex cable into the floor so is not sticking out the floor ?
Hi,can you connect two maths together?
Yes mate! You just have to connect the two flex cables into the thermostat!
