Exactly. It's such a beautiful song, with a beautiful meaning, and a beautiful MV. And I thought the MV's meaning was pretty clear (Jin's explanation only confirmed it for me),so it sort of amuses me when people seem to struggle with it. it was a coldplay concert but the minute it was announced that jin would be joining coldplay for 1 night in argentina, we (argentinian armys) did everything to get tickets and eventually turned it into a jin concert, i was one of the lucky ones who got to see him there for the first time ever and im still kind of in shock lol just thinking about how i got to see jin debut as a soloist in my country and also how this is the last time (for now) that we will get to see him on stage... im gonna go cry bye

This was at the Coldplay concert in Buenos Aires, which was livestreamed all over the world to movie theaters. They showed the audience during the 15 minutes or so before it started, and there were a huge number of Armys in attendance (lots of signs, etc. being displayed). Jin’s song was towards the end of the concert, and Chris gave a wonderful speech leading into it, which I hope you’ll watch. Since this was Jin’s gift to Armys in the final weeks before he joins the military, it was hugely emotional. There was not a dry eye in the theater when it was over. It was an amazing experience.

Yeah Jin! Everything he’s done for army with the song, the video, traveling 30 something hours to get to Argentina for the performance. He wanted to go into the army either spring or summer of this last year, but he postponed for Busan, so he’ll have to spend two seasons of winter in the army instead of one, and he hates cold. And this whole time he’s getting comments like why aren’t you already in the army when he wanted to go earlier but he postponed for his team. Mad respect.

Yes this was a Coldplay song with many army's.. Once because it was known, few days before Jin with be there (Coldplay had several days of concert in Buenos Aires) and secondly because with the My Univers collab it was revealed that there were some Bts fans that were also Coldplay fans(as I was) and maybe some fans that discovered Coldplay after that, if not at this concert :)

He is telling us that he has to leave for a little while, but reminding us that he loves us and promises to return. Jin has been a Coldplay fan since he was very young and he said back in 2017 that it would be a dream come true to collaborate with them. Then they got to perform a cover of Fix You, and did My Universe with Coldplay. BTS and Coldplay have a lot in common, in that they both write beautiful lyrics that are meant to encourage and lift people up, and in their belief in the importance of kindness and inclusion. When Jin wanted to write this song for ARMY, Chris Martin and Coldplay were the perfect choice for a collaboration. Coldplay have light up wrist bands at their concerts that sync with the music, just like Army bombs do at BTS concerts. They provide the wrist bands at all of their stadium concerts. I still have mine from when I saw them about 10 years ago.
Our poor 7 angels were getting hate about their enlistment of the military. Jin did a few vlives explain and sharing what has been going on. This is Jins heart put to music for us armys. Believe me Armys hearts are breaking cause we know they are going to start leaving us one by one. it was a Coldplay concert in Buenos Aires. It was Oct 28, same day that The Astronaut premiered. Chris invited Jin to perform in their concert. It was announced that Jin will join them like a week before the concert. The lights you saw were mostly bracelets given at CP concerts. There were army that went to the concert once they knew Jin was a guest. However, most did not have army bombs since these are very expensive in Argentina. Those that could have the bombs were army from other countries who watched the concert. They were either Coldplayers already with tickets and at the same time army as well or army who bought tickets the moment they learned Jin was a guest.

Coldplay concert with Jin as a one song guest. Of course there were tons of ARMY there especially since it's Jin's last performance before enlisting. It was very heartwarming. Oh, and Jin let everyone know in advance that he was going to be at the Coldplay concert, so ARMY showed up with signs and ARMY bombs, even though it wasn't a BTS concert.

Yes this was a Coldplay song with many army's.. Once because it was known, few days before Jin with be there (Coldplay had several days of concert in Buenos Aires) and secondly because with the My Univers collab it was revealed that there were some Bts fans that were also Coldplay fans(as I was) and maybe some fans that discovered Coldplay after that, if not at this concert :)

Jin has spoken often about how he was someone who didn't have a specific path he wanted his life to take, so we was just floating through life. (Like an astronaut in space!) Then he met the members of BTS and found a new life and family with his six younger brothers. ARMY became his extended family and he has always expressed his deep gratitude for the love and support we give him. In this video, Jin is the astronaut and the little girl represents ARMY. He is telling us that he has to leave for a little while, but reminding us that he loves us and promises to return.
Jin has been a Coldplay fan since he was very young and he said back in 2017 that it would be a dream come true to collaborate with them. Then they got to perform a cover of Fix You, and did My Universe with Coldplay. BTS and Coldplay have a lot in common, in that they both write beautiful lyrics that are meant to encourage and lift people up, and in their belief in the importance of kindness and inclusion. When Jin wanted to write this song for ARMY, Chris Martin and Coldplay were the perfect choice for a collaboration. Coldplay invited Jin to perform The Astronaut in Argentina at their concert and he flew to the other side of the world to sing one song for the ARMY he loves. Jin really is one of a kind and we are so blessed that he is in our lives.
This is Jin's last performance for the next two years. If you guys had watched Chris's speech before the performance, where he talks about this, you would've understood the significance of it more.
This performance and song has made a lot of us see how precious Jin really is. Coldplay have light up wrist bands at their concerts that sync with the music, just like Army bombs do at BTS concerts. They provide the wrist bands at all of their stadium concerts. I still have mine from when I saw them about 10 years ago.
Our poor 7 angels were getting hate about their enlistment of the military. Jin did a few vlives explain and sharing what has been going on. This is Jins heart put to music for us armys. Believe me Armys hearts are breaking cause we know they are going to start leaving us one by one. Which hurts but we army are so proud of our boys always doing what needs to be done with dignity, respect and of course LOVE. to be honest the end when Jin laughed that wrecked me so bad. That it made reality slap me in the face.vthese 7 angels have gotten be through some of the hardest times I had to face lately. I am not a young army I am 50yrs old mother and grandma.

this song is a love letter to armys before he leaves for the military; in the room there are 7 objects for the 7 members, the cross word puzzle says army, family, star, moon. the little girl represents army, it's said she looks like a 9 year old also representing how old their fanbase is, the people bumping into him and the amount of stop signs behind him while he's walking outside is sort of a way of telling him not to leave, the astronaut,, is well,, an astronaut representing him, as astronauts leave for a while for missions then come back to earth. the purple galaxy scene represents armys again, he looks around at the galaxy than into the camera, the car picking him up i think has something to do with hyyh? the braille on his neck spells out army. and the bike bell is the little girl (armys) waiting for him.

it was a Coldplay concert in Buenos Aires. It was Oct 28, same day that The Astronaut premiered. Chris invited Jin to perform in their concert. It was announced that Jin will join them like a week before the concert. The lights you saw were mostly bracelets given at CP concerts. There were army that went to the concert once they knew Jin was a guest. However, most did not have army bombs since these are very expensive in Argentina. Those that could have the bombs were army from other countries who watched the concert. They were either Coldplayers already with tickets and at the same time army as well or army who bought tickets the moment they learned Jin was a guest.

This is Jin's goodbye song to Army before he is drafted to his military service in Korea The song was composed by Chris of Coldplay per request of Jin. He wants to convey his love for Army with this song. His lyrics his says are what he truly feels about himself until he found the Army to be his family..As usual there are several Easter eggs in the MV and of course the 9 year old is a reference to Army which is also its 9 yr anniversary. The other Easter eggs have already been mentioned in the comments 😊.

Like other comments mentioned, Chris Martin spoke before the performance stating how Jin reached out asking for a song to show his love for ARMY. A song for ARMY before he leaves for enlistment. He performed this song with Coldplay right after the song was released.
Coldplay concert with Jin as a one song guest. Of course there were tons of ARMY there especially since it's Jin's last performance before enlisting. You'll notice that there is A LOT of Jin content out there (Running Man, that drinking show thing which was chaotic, a lot of BangtanTV stuff centered on Jin) because he's supposed to be gone to the military for 2 years.
