In this video I go for a cheap and tasty Thai food lunch at Ten Ten Restaurant (เท็น เท็น แกง 10 บาท), the cheapest restaurant in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand. Ten Ten restaurant has a great variety of cheap and delicious Krabi food, including a dish recently given the award for worst dish in the world by Taste Atlas, kaeng tai pla. Most items there are only 10 baht and they even have all you can eat rice for 10 baht. Everything I ate was delicious!
If you're looking for cheap cheap Thai restaurant food in Krabi Thailand, you won't find a cheaper restaurant than Ten Ten!

The funny with places like that is that its often gets more expensive in the end ..BUT u can try many different dishes and that's a plus =)
I personally prefer the makeshift street "workers buffe´" places often near construction sites or offices for lunch here in Bangkok (and probably in krabi too) where u can eat all u want for 40-60 baht and they often have 10-12 different dishes to mix and try + free water and greens
remember that Mark Weins did a video about one 2020 and hes was shocked of the the high quality and flavors and price (40 baht then , now its 60 baht )

Ruenmai was the best restaurant I went to in krabi.
Yes, Ruen Mai is definitely one of the best restaurants in Krabi and one of our favourites. We had dinner there again a few weeks ago and as always, everything was perfect. Here's a video we made there about 3 and a half years ago:

You'll probably have to go hunting in the jungle for that, or ask Thai friends if they can source them. I'm not sure if they still have them on the menu because I haven't been there for a few years, but Koy Kulakasai Restaurant in Krabi (Google Maps: maps.app.goo.gl/FaGTScZ7JCeB3sHFA ) used to have "roasted wasps with salt", and also "fried crispy wasps" in their menu.
