    Anyone that is wondering about 43inch version.
    I am using the 43 for around 2 months now. Surprised there arent any reviews out still. I have it hooked to my mac mini and it is great for productivity. Connected USB-C to USB-C for 4K. Haven't played any games yet (can't comment on that yet). Will eventually try some pc/ps/xbox games. I notice with mine the screen goes black for a second then back on (3-4 times a day). Watching Netflix is OK at best because the screen in a dark room is more greyish and not full black (quality issue of screen). Brightness goes to 50max, I keep mine at 40. Even at 50max it isn't very bright tbh. I am used to dimmer viewing though. You get the same cool solar powered remote that comes with their flagship Neo QLED Tvs. Sound quality and bass is damn good for a Monitor hands down. No height adjustable (only tilt). Bear in mind that the screen will have grey patchy areas when viewing dark things in a dark room. It is not 100% black.
    Takes a little to get used to the sheer 43inch when you step up from the 32inch. If you can make peace that this 530Euro monitor won't output the same blacks a 1500Euro OLED 4K TV does. Perfect for productivity tasks.

      Hi @Vince PLEASE can you check if the pixel structure is RGB or BGR? RedGreenBlue order or BlueGreenRed (the last one on 43" Philips). It is important for me for the TEXT clarity, the RGB is better. you can just use your phone to magnify and take the picture. THANKS in ADVANCE ;-)

      Indeed I was searching for the 43 inch reviews/unboxing. It seems its not a real popular size, but would you recommend 44 over the 32? I have a TV of 32 but I want something bigger. Does the 4k looks better on a bigger or smaller screen?

Also realized I had a 10 year old pc lying around, I hooked it up, installed the latest windows 10 update and it honestly looks great on this display. Today I’ve primarily used it as a smart tv though!

    its a good monitor ive been using it for a while now on the ps5 , only downside is that its 60Hz , you wont find a cheap monitor with HDMI 2.1 (120hz at 4K) but considering the price for the M7 it’s great, also if youre having the color issue, you can fix it from the settings by going to the settings, expert settings, and changing contrast enhancer to off

      @@PratikShahEditor I've got it for a week. In the office it has been perfect. When you activate eye care mode it really doesn't bother you after long sessions reading or coding. As fot the screen it is bright enough even in well lighted offices. If you take it out of eye care mode blacks are really black! it gets bright and the smart features are awesome. 32" is perfect size for productivity. The big caviar is the light sensor. Sometimes it miss reads the ambient light and it dimms the screen when it should brighten it more. On eyecare mode you can't manually control the brightness, so the solution is to disable the ambient sensor. If you are not going to use the eye care features you can even set a minimum brightness lvl so if the ambient sensor doesn't always read correctly you will be able to see the screen well enough. I haven't really tried the speaker but i'm sure it is enough if you stay close to the monitor. I bought it on an offer for -100€. it costs 400€ but i paid 300€. would i recommend it? definitely but only to ppl who are going to read a lot of text / office work. Gaming is 1000000% not worth it. In normal mode the screen feels more like a tv from the input lagg perspective. it is not instant as a normal 4ms monitor that i have. If you are going to use it for work (not photo editing) + watching youtube/netflix/ airplay then this is the product for you.

    I admit I did modify mine with a 3.5mm jack, it is so worth it.But everything you said about this monitor is correct. It is amazing for the price. Sure I would love 120hz amd 2ms response times, but this monitor would be way more expensive. The fact that it is 4k amazes me. As you may now already know, the reason the tap didn't work was because you were not tapping you were just placing which was not enough. You do actually have to hit the phone to the TV. And it ONLY works with Samsung phones.

    • @notthatdumb
      @notthatdumb 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Champ mind to share how to you modify to connect the 3.5mm jack directly to the monitor?

    • @yogibear2k220
      @yogibear2k220 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@notthatdumb IT depends on how competent you are with a soldering iron and, bear in mind taking this tv apart is a nightmare. All I did was cut the wires to the speakers and connect them to a switchable 3.5 mm socket with a nut and bolt, and then from the socket back to the speakers. Drill a 3.6mm hole where ever you can in the TV housing (for a little wiggle room.) and you are done. If this makes no sense to you then don't attempt as you could potentially and permanently damage the TV if you do not know what you are doing.

    • @notthatdumb

      Looks like i need to bear with the slight lag from Bluetooth connection to the 3.5mm adapter 😂😂😂. I'll definitely damage the new monitor with your setup

    I'm gonna get this baby tomorrow, it can do so much more than I expected. I use it these days to watch Netflix, HBOmax and Disney+, as I see it natively includes them all. So in the future I won't have to boot up my desktop to watch movies and TV shows.
    I also use graphic software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AE, Premiere Pro, so I edit my videos on a computer. I have a 1080 27" screen now, but I'm shooting in 4k and I'd like to be able to preview the output better than I can now. I'm hoping to have more screen space to lay out tools and stuff.
    Unfortunately, as far as I can see, there is no intermediate size between 32" and 43", so due to the size of my table, the maximum can be 32".

    still trying to work things out. However this is supposed to be a monitor first and tv second... my feelings so far is its Tv first and monitor second maybe even third. Great resolution in Tv mode, not so good in computer mode. There is some basics missing or forgotten, thing like a ear piece outlet. While everybody is working I would like to listen to some music, or when editing I like not to have background noise . Yes it has blue tooth, but and this is my second dislike, so far I have not been able to get audio from my computer through the monitor speakers,so whether it has Bluetooth doesn't matter. No camera, while in some respects good, not so good for business conferencing. Yes 32inch, but in this case size does not matter, the screen stretches everything and when working in Adobe Illustrator my A4 look's square...there seems to be no common denominator in software between computer and Tv. This combination also means you have to have two sets of keyboard and mouse or keep moving your Bluetooth USB between computer and monitor. I maybe doing lots wrong, but I had hoped that when I plugged one end of the HDMI cable in either ports the bloody thing would work. All this works great on the "all in one's", why not here. It seems too much is being concentrated on the fact you can stream Netflix and all the other magic stuff not enough on the business end of the product

    How’s the built-in usb c hub perform? Meaning if I connect MacBook via usb c 65watt cable, the additional USB ports in back of monitor run full usb drive speeds? Every hub/built in USB port devices I have in past only run 75-90% full speed vs direct. Except for my latest anker tb4 hub that runs good maybe 95-99% full speed. So I’m assuming this Samsung monitor/usb c hub probably won’t run as good?
