Greetings from India! Wonderful teacher. It will definately change my prayer life! Profound insight: God has moods but not controlled by it. He got angry, grieved, rejoiced! I am going into the prayer closet sensing "what is the mood of the Spirit right now". Is it time to battle or adore and worship or be quiet. I am listening to my heart...He put His Spirit in my heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to recognize "what does God need today" Be sensitive remember it is a relationship. Faith, Holy healthy fear and different kind of prayers (I love the analogy of the son with the baseball bat “ and I came a long way to understand that truly the Holy Spirit is the Manager the leader of my prayer closet , when we follow his instructions we pray the will of the Father and yes we come in offensive /defensive mode in warfare , also with the sweet fragrance of praise and worship (obedience )to name a few. Thank you for ministering to Us Holy Spirit through your servant.. I long and pray for the church to be prayerful again . Prayerlessness is rampant in churches . We talk about the spirit of God intellectually and he is grieved that we reject his help . So much to say , I’m currently doing my daily study in the a fear of the Lord. Oh how I bless the Lord for inspiring this book to his Ecclesia. Blessed Sunday to All . Seated in the heavenly places 🔥🔥🔥

Amen! Beautiful message. I was conversing with a friend of mine who is a pastor and he denies that we are healed by faith. I cited all of the Scriptures I could (James 5:14-16,Romans 8:11, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, etc) to back up that interpretation and he responded: “Well I believe God is sovereign and it’s his will not to heal some people. I still pray for tons of people though in hopes that He will heal them. Are you saying I’m not praying with faith?”
I pointed out that he said it himself that he’s praying from hope, not from faith.
You did well telling him it's faith.
it's not prayer that heals but faith behind the prayer....the prayer of faith will heal the sick, not just prayer (James 5)
@@jorty. thank you. He kept trying to refute the Scripture I cited by using his own experience and logic. He then started appealing to ridicule by saying things like “if we were healed by faith the hospitals would be empty” or “oh, so you’re saying people can live forever? If we’re healed by faith then people can just regenerate new body parts any time they want and never die.”
I had to point out to him that not everyone has faith and patience to inherit all promises and that he himself was discouraging people from faith by telling them God plays favorites. I also pointed out that no true believer in Christ would want to live forever in their Earthly bodies. The problem is, he’s putting his faith in what his seminary professors taught him and his own experience rather than taking God at His word.
@@scottsponaas the way I see it, you should be taking his place and he should go back and ask God to teach him by His Holy Spirit😉. As Paul said: the gospel should be demonstrated with power and Spirit:
New King James Version 1Cor2:4
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
Sounds like this man doesn't even have the words of life. And for sure no demonstration of power and Spirit. He just throws up empty arguments to condone his lack of faith in God. Typical protestant doctrine. Sadly it is also seen in mannnyyyyy evangelical churches. May GOd open the eyes of his heart and give him wisdom and understanding to know Him as he truly is.

I grew up in a very prominent Assemblies of God church in Springfield MO (where the National A/G Headquarters is), and have attended A/G churches wherever in have lived, with two exceptions: we attended a Baptist church in one town because there was no A/G church and then in that same town I was also the director of music in a United Methodist Church.
But I’m all my 56 years on this earth… I have never heard ANYONE teach quite like you do.

I've listened to many of your teachings and they're so right on! However, this one is incomplete. Your Bible does not have Matthew 17:21 in it. The reason that they couldn't cast out the demon is not because they locked faith, Matthew 21 specifically says. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and FASTING! This is from the new King James version, the King James version also complies
Mark 9:29 also omits FASTING in many Bibles.
I wonder why they omitted that!
10:10 this guy is taking one sentence out of a verse (Luke 5:17), which appears the way it does in the NKJV and KJV only (“heal them”) and bases his mishmash of the paralytic man being healed, but not the Pharisees and teachers of the law, to prove his thin claim that God heals only based on faith and not need.
What about the man at the pool where he wanted to be healed to walk about, in John 5:1-8? The man said nothing about having faith in Jesus. Jesus did not say the man’s faith was the reason for the healing. The man simply wanted/needed to be healed. Jesus did that.
I was skeptical of Bevere when just a few pages into his book, Awe of God, he says we have to give God permission to change us according to His will. Really? God needs our permission to do that? Pharaoh gave God permission to harden his heart? I don’t remember God asking Mary if she wanted to give birth to the Messiah, or if Joseph wanted to keep Mary and raise Jesus.
I don’t trust this guy at all.
I really like your teachings but why oh why are you quoting modern bible translations ? They are mistranslations and deceptions according to teachers I respect whole heartedly. You have to have heard the same. Please ditch them for the closest to the original.
