@@Vishal.374 पुर्व से मतलब कांग्रेस सरकार से है,इसके बाद साल 1950 में नेहरू ने कोको द्वीप समूह बर्मा (म्यांमार) को उपहार में दे दिया. कुछ समय बाद बर्मा ने यही कोको द्वीप चीन को उपहार में दे दिया. तभी से इस द्वीप पर चीन अपना अधिकार दिखाने लगा आज गिनती करें तो कोकोद्वीप,कच्चादिवू पीओके,अक्साई लद्दाख क्षेत्र जिसे अब अक्साई चीन भी कहा जाता है,रणनितीक लिहाज से सब महत्वपूर्ण हैं और सब उपहार में बांट दिये,आज यह दिक्कतें पैदा कर रहा,हस्ती मानते नही उलट बीजेपी पर बिगड़ने लगते हैं

हमारी सबसे बड़ी कमजोरी है की हम सांप के जाने के बाद ही लकीर को पीटते हैं । यानी की कुछ होने के बाद ही हमारी नींद टूटती है। पहले से कोई विशेष तैयारी नहीं करते। देश की आजादी के बाद से ही हमारी सामरिक क्षमताओं की उपेक्षा की गयी। प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री नेहरू तो भारतीय सेना को भंग करने की बात करता था। वो अपनी ही ख़्वाबों - ख्यालों की रूमानी दुनिया में विचरण करने वाला अनोखा प्राणी था। उसका ये कहना था की हम किसी पर आक्रमण नहीं करेंगे तो कोई हम पर क्यों आक्रमण करेगा. 1962 के चीनी आक्रमण ने उसको सपनों की दुनिया से खींच के हकीकत की धरातल पर ला पटका. दुर्भाग्य से वर्तमान युग में भी एक के बाद एक विभिन्न दलों की सरकारें आई किन्तु कोई विशेष ध्यान हमारी रक्षा तैयारियों पर नहीं दिया गया है। UPA के 2004 से 2014 का काल तो सामरिक तैयारियों के लिहाज से अन्धकार युग के समान था जब सेना के आधुनिकरण के कार्यक्रम को पूर्णत: बंद कर दिया गया। मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद कुछ हालत सुधरे है किन्तु जितनी अपेक्षा थी उस के अनुरूप सेना को उचित बजट नहीं प्रदान किया जा रहा। आज भी कुल जीडीपी का मात्र 1.6 % ही हमारे रक्षा बजट को प्रदान किया जा रहा है। रक्षा विशेषज्ञ काफी लम्बे अरसे से चिल्ला चिल्ला कर चेता रहे है की चीन बहुत तेजी से अपनी सामरिक क्षमता को बढ़ा रहा है। चीन के खतरे से निपटने के लिए यदि जीडीपी का 4 % आवंटन रक्षा मंत्रालय को हमारी कमजोर अर्थव्यवस्था को नहीं प्रदान किया जा सकता तो कम से कम ये 2.5 % तो हर हाल में किया जाना चाहिए। किन्तु सरकार के पास 80 करोड़ लोगो को मुफ्त का राशन बांटने के प्रति वर्ष 2 लाख करोड़ रूपये तो है किन्तु 126 राफेल खरीदने के लिए पैसे ख़त्म हो जाते हैं. अब समय आ गया है की मुफ्तखोरी की सभी स्कीमें बंद कर के उस पैसे को हमारी तीनों सेनाओं के आधुनिकरण पर खर्च किया जाये.
