As a child of immigrants, I always longed for American grandparents, because I wished I could talk to them about anything without a language barrier and hear about their life and experiences with no boundaries. I’m sure your granddaughter is really grateful to have you in her life. I long to hear about my grandparents time when they were my age and what their life was like, but I will never fully grasp their life story because I understand and speak the native language at an elementary/intermediate level and they do not understand English. Thank you for being all of our grandpas!❤
