This is great. We need these at many bus stops that are just a sign in the grass. When I rode the dart many people complained to me about having to stand in the sun and then the bus was late. That isn’t safe or healthy. So increasing the number of bus shelters will be great for making the bus a more livable system for people!!

Yes, please. A monitor or something on the shelter showing arrival times would be immensely helpful. Thank you.

Need more shelters or benches at a lot of stops. Many stops there is not even a bench to sit on and are forced to stand up to an hour waiting on the next bus and no shade available in the texas heat. The new DART network has been a total disaster where I live. I have a lot of medical appointments which used to take me 45 mins to an hour to get to. Now the average time is 90 mins to 2 hours. And when I need to transfer, one or more buses are never on time and am late to my appointments.

I can vouch for what you said. For 3 years I’ve ask for a bench to be placed at Alpha & Alpha Link (Bus Stop). Also, it is so bad that a Farmers Branch Police officer took me home in the winter at night (8:30-9:30 pm) because the bus never came. Then again last year!!!

Very cool. Having a monitor would be super helpful. Understandably the cost to maintain those would be pretty high compared to what is there now.
We have to prioritize public transportation upgrades to help substitute our dependence on cars
