Looking for a mic arm to start out with always ends up with a list of cheapy ones that all look the same for the most part. While these will cover the basics, if you ever plan to upgrade to a bigger and heavier microphone down the line...starting off with a mic arm more like this one might be the way to go if you can afford to spend a little more. Today we're checking out the Tonor T20 Mic arm. Or boom arm. Or scissor arm. Whatever you want to call it.

I had ordered a Sensic SA-10 or something. First of all there was production garbage molten inside the hole of the base so I couldn’t fit the whole arm pin in and move it smoothly. And next to that I would only hold heavy mic’s. I thought oh hell yeah I have a cheap nice looking arm which could hold a heavy mic along the way. But it was too strong and not adjustable. So my mic kept flying away from me. So I am sending this back and paying double for the Tonor T30 the big brother of this videos T20. Because of this video I am reassured and know I will like the T30. Thnx
I bought one of these for home recording of educational videos. I liked it so well I purchased another one for my office setup :)

I just received the t30 from Tonor. Same basic quality and build just a longer reach.
Extra arm/brace on the first half and better base do help though

How do you clamp it, the little clamp that comes with the arm, that connects to the mic, how do you clamp that

I was about to pull the trigger in the buy of one Tonor T20 and just had saw about the behavior with lightweight mics. 💔💔💔 As I own a ATR-2100x USB which has only 268gr/9.5oz I guess this boom arm might behave like this one: th-cam.com/video/fcZcjtKYHpE/w-d-xo.html

Keep carefull of the caution sign, Apparently someone’s friend cut their finger hella deep from it! Use scissors if worried!
