I see what Mike was saying about slowing down my hands. Im just so anxious and excited when I drive this thing! Like I told you I’m in love with this kart it’s worth every penny But that was a awesome lap!! Keep it up man love the channel! 👍🏾
Nice promo, we are testing the VLR chassis here in St. Pete but are going with the LO206 pkg. The kart you were driving looked like it handled very well. Very smooth with little hand movements. Of course your driving skills played a big part in the kart's performance. Putting our VLR/LO206 pkg. to the test May 25th 2019 at Andersen Race Park, Palmetto Fl. for their Local LO206 series running against the popular Margay Ignites, MGM's and TB Karts. Testing on our local short track (PKE) has looked very promising. Keep the pedal to the metal mi amigo!
Good stuff sir! These engines seem pretty sweet! I have a Rotax on my cart, but the regular TAG 125cc class is dying out in my area in favor of 206 and these air cooled 100cc. How was the power on this compared to the DD2 you drove before?
The DD2 blows this away in regards to power and speed based on when I drove them but this kart would be the perfect starting point for someone new to karting. It gives you the thrill of good acceleration and good speed but it's not too much kart for a newbie. It's all about if your local racing supports this class, the 206 or something else.
You were scared huh when that 2 stroke powerband pipe kicked in.... coming from a lawnmower engine. I'm just messin' with ya, but yeah man....... ain't nothing like 2 strokes. :)
Very nice! Your lap looked a lot smoother than mine lol sounds like they got it tuned better too. Didn’t sound like it was bogging down. You sold on it? Gonna convince everyone to swap over?
I really enjoyed running it. I think I drove a different one than you. I'm definitely interested in running this class if we get enough people to buy one given it's new around here.
Milton Warren JR not that I know of.(If there is I’m sure it’s not as good as DKC.) Dallas Karting Complex has great employees and fun karts. It’s definitely worth the drive if you stay out there for a few hours or even the whole day if you can. Before I went to DKC I would go to K1 speed, but you realize how lame K1 Speed is once you go on the DKC track.
@@BradenSchlimme Right, I've been to K1 a few times. but by far the best experience I've had was an outside track with a 20+hp kart at COTA. I'll make a trip to DKC sooner rather than later.

your vocal description techniques were great... brings back memories - keep up the inspirational videos, they are watched and valuable
+Blank Slate Thank you so much for the kind words!
My two favorite customers in one video! Be careful, try not to get addicted to 2-stroke like me.

2stroke the only go kart to own let alone race. Iam currently building my own a HAASE 2002 with a Kpv/Hpv 100cc motor.

It would be necessary to grease at the end of the line little advises of friends😉 good video boys
Good last lap
Just out of curiosity, what kind of lap times were you seeing once you got up to speed? That one lap looked really smooth, your lo206 is showing!
I ran a :59 in my only time in it. I think a :57 is where someone that's up to speed is.
Illegal Alien Racing thanks! Just did a session out there on the vlr. Was a ton of fun.
Hi 👋. I want to buy this engine but i dont no how many hours i can drive him before i have to revise him.

Good video, wondering where did you mount your go pro. The viewing angle is very nice
Thank you. I mount it on the very top of my helmet. The camera is a GoPro Hero 5 and the set to record in Superview so it gives a better overall view.
@@IllegalAlienRacing your voice is very clear too. how did you make that?
@@topspykimi - I have a mic in my helmet right in front of my mouth and it's plugged in directly into my GoPro.

Did you not drive the dd2 as well?
I did once several months ago.
Are you doing the club race soon?
Yes, I plan on being there.
Illegal Alien Racing sweet see you there👍🏼

So what engine is it?
Every driven a yamaha yz100?
Does it compare?
prob the KA100
@@bandaid1957 I think you're right, yamaha is about 15hp.
@@bandaid1957 It's a Vortex VLR, a direct competitor to the IAME KA100 and I believe they're both driven in the same class.
whats a VLR 100 top speed?
65mph
