I don't know what the answer is to stop this. There were plenty of homes without fathers back in the day, some died or others walked off. Back in the day children played outside, made up games, double dutch, riding bikes, street skates, marbles etc. There were more activities to, boy and girl scouts, little league baseball, 4h clubs, more school activities. Churches had plenty of activities for the youth, picnics, ice socials, church trips to amusement parks There were skating rinks, after school dances and more These kids are bored today, not enough physical activity. Just electronics and tech games. I see the youth of today just sitting on porches or simply standing around talking. Bored youth usually go looking for excitement or ways to belong somewhere. They end up with gangs and selling drugs
