Hi Brian! Great Video, very helpful and inspiring to see your approach and thought process in the streets; it's quite different from mine, which is much more reactive and focused on peoples expressions, Interactions or situations they are in, rather then on composition and light. Definitly something I will have to work on in the future.
That was most interesting and the rain helped a lot in your shoot, although the input of the camera info was less interesting for me I am sure it was for you, I hope it dried out ok, the amazing thing about your shoot is there was no one to challenge you of what you were doing which was good, unlike where I live! Thank you and that made a nice change from landscape photography....Oh and that pint of Guinness looks good!
What a day...Great shots! I love to dabble in street photoraphy but the tips from this and some of your other videos might just take me to the next level. 😀
Another great video Brian! Thanks for getting out in that rainy weather. Love all the shots, especially the ones at night. Take care and see ya in the next one!
Appreciate the video as always! Some beautiful shots, Bri. Your passion always shines through in these videos. It's infectious. You say you get better dynamic range with the A7RV over the A7RIII. Is that from your own observations when editing and pulling shadows? I only ask because DXO Mark ranks the RIII, RIV and RV identical for dynamic range performance in their tests… So I’d be interested to know if your real world experience of the cameras shows more of a difference, especially in low light? I had an A7RV for a brief period and while it’s a sensational camera, I went back to an A7RIII(A) as I just couldn’t justify the price for features I didn’t need at the time… And wisely spent the money on glass instead! The 42MP sensor and smaller body on the RIII is ideal for me, but I’ll probably buy an RV again (or an A1) later this year to partner the RIII when I’ve built out my lens kit. I don't like taking trips with one camera. I try to focus on creating images, not new gear, but the autofocus on the new bodies for shooting people, animals, moving objects etc is just incredible!
I noticed quite a difference, the autofocus is amazing when it comes to tracking subjects, and the EVF is a big jump up compared to the Riii. As for the dynamic range, I did notice a difference when recovering shadows, not forgetting the extra megapixels. All in all, Sony definitely did a great job with the RV, feels great to hold also.
Another enjoyable video, night shoots are one of my favourite areas of photography, can't beat the colours and ambiance of artificial light to add mood to scenes!
Your photography is extremely good!!! Lol, I like your accent to!!! As I asked in a previous comment, how do you hold your camera so as not to be conspicuous! Around my friends, as soon as you raise a camera or phone, they always react to it! Ether, they will pose or hide there face!!! Do you shoot in high speed, burst mode, or single shot????
@@mspates5982 Thank you 😊👍 The more you do street the more you relax and tend not to stand out as much. Everyone finds their technique for capturing shots, the best way is to just act naturally, and the more you will blend in. I don't use high-speed bursts, it takes away from the challenge.
Hi. I been looking at getting a7r5. But it's been out for a while canon r52 and z8 are out and now I see what's possible.. I am in no hurry.. R5ii has no third party support. .z8 is really big....like something smaller so a7r6 is there on both but older now... Should I wait for a7r6?
I'm not sure when the A 7R 6 will be coming out, but I can imagine it will be some time yet, Sony did that good with the R V it is a camera I will be quite happy to own for quite some time.
First class vlog as usual Brian. you know the composition you want and you always achieve it.Looking forward to your next one.

I've taken to street myself. I'm getting bored with landscapes. Thanks for this and the ones before Brian 📷👍
Thank you 😉👍
It must be nice with the improved IBIS and EVF in the A7RV
It is, the RV is definitely a step up 👍
@@BriBarnhamPhotography I got the RV this summer when it was at a very good offer.
@@cameraprepper7938 awesome 👏
Really good watch that Bri. Very inspirational. Loved the expressive hands guy and the two versions of the chef. 😀👍🏻
Thanks, Jon 😉👍

If I ever get the chance I'll
quite happily photograph in other Cities.
