  • Allow me to show you my new foldie bike - the Fnhon Gust.
    This is one of the hottest foldie bikes in town, and I'd say it's a very good alternative for those who're looking at smaller bikes. While it does not fold as compact as a 3-fold Brompton (and clones such as Pikes or 3Sixty), it definitely provides much more in terms of quality and overall weight-saving.
    We get plenty of good quality parts like Shimano groupset and full Litepro parts. And you really gotta check out how much lighter this is. At 9.2kg (less pedals), it definitely makes this easier to move around.
    Not to mention for Fnhon bikes, you're more or less looking at custom builds in a sense that you can select all the trim colours and parts. And that's what I just did for my bike. I went for a full black-gold colour scheme. Just loving it.
    Specs for this bike:
    Frame: Fnhon Gust FGC1611 Chromoly Steel with aluminium fork (black & gold edition)
    Groupset: Shimano 9-speed, shifter Alivio, deraileur Sora
    Rimset: Litepro K-fun 305 (gold) with Kenda K1082 tires
    Brakes: Avid levers with Litepro V brakes
    Crankset: Litepro hollowcrank with 53T crank (gold)
    Litepro parts: headset, skewers, seat post (gold)
    Weight: 92.kg less pedals
    Price: SG$700 plus

      These Fnhons don’t get as much fanfare and cult following, but they’re actually very nice too. Enjoy yours in good health!

      So after riding the fnhon a while would you say it’s better than the Brompton copies? Also I noticed no mud guards. Is that a problem? Do you get dirty riding it?

    • @AndyinSG
      @AndyinSG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rajivpn so far no issues without mudguard. But i never ride in wet weather so can’t say for sure.
      I like the weight of these Fnhon bikes. But I guess in terms of folding, the B-types are better. May be important factor for transporting in your car to Marina/ECP.:)
      In terms of ride, the Gust is still OK because it’s steel frame. Not exactly magic carpet but still ok for a foldie.

      Technically it can fit. But I think you should get a feel of the actual thing first. The bike is pretty small.

    i think fnhon is also a dahon clone in the same way that pikes and 3sixty are to brompton

    • @AndyinSG
      @AndyinSG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would think the Gust is definitely original model. But yes, I have to agree that the Fnhon brand is most likely inspired by Dahon.
