Thanks jozse glad you enjoyed it , never had 3 tanks in a day before and the chub were just bonus really ! Which is a shame coz I was actually fishing for the chub and just got lucky with the Perch . Thanks alot for watching and commenting ATB 👍
It was like an ice rink Paul neary slid in a couple of times but well worth it . I was surprised how well fed the fished looked too as of the amount of flooding we have had recently but I suppose it has been balling up the minnows etc ready for hungry predators . One of the chub did cough up a half digested minnow . All the best and thanks for watching 👍
I think they were probably pike fry, as they spawn early, so that they don't predate on their own fry when all the other fish spawn. Some cracking perch and chub too 🎣
Hiya Paul , I had not thought that they could be early Pike fry and thats a great shout . I couldn't really get close enough to see them clearly but you could well be right . Thanks for watching and commenting All the best buddy 👍

Don’t know where you were but sounds well dodgy with all the sirens
The sirens and Apache over head are security ... ( on many levels) 😉

Eyup Gary chub are predators too and will take small lures they just don't have the armour and spikes of bass ! 🍻
