Both my sons are very tall as well. The youngest is just over 2m and he spends his life looking ahead judging obstacles, and ducking accordingly, he is wary of underground car parks and alleys with hanging signs. Our standard doorway height in Australia🇦🇺 is 6’8” 203cm, with shoes on he can just fit under. Hates beds with a bed end, cars that don’t have a lowering mechanism on the drivers seat, else his vision is cut off. Likes the end seat in the cinema because he has to slouch down, so as not to annoy the people behind, no where for his legs to go but out. As for shoes yes he can empathise with Jin, limited choice. They say if you double your sons height on his second birthday you will have an idea of how tall they are going to be. Both sons came to within 1cm of their final height. Being tall does have its disadvantages, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be ( pun intended ) as their skulls will attest. We had to have the shower head raised, as well as the vanity and the mirror in the boys bathroom, or they would have had to do the manner legs. FYI The average/normal height of an Australia male is approx 180cm. Define normal? Normal is whatever YOU are, you live with it, and work around it.
