Don't dis the rare packs too much. It takes many more packs to get those big hits, but when you do...BOOM! I'm up about 3000% of my buy in on rare packs. Granted, I did hit a Shadow Rat early on which has funded my open pack/sell/open pack/sell snowball effect.
