Medicine During the American Revolution

During the American Revolution, soldiers were more at risk of dying from illness, injury, and disease than in the heat of battle. As such, medical practitioners, such as surgeons, often traveled with the Continental Army. Today, Madi tells us about some of the treatments that would have been used in the eighteenth century and helps out Jamie, who has had some unfortunate mishaps in his travels as a Continental Army soldier.
