While Space Invaders is probably the best individual Taito table, I think this may be the best set so far. I was actually second place on the Legend of Kage leaderboard for a few minutes on day 1. That didn't last long! Looking forward to the deep dives.
Nice vid ! Any idea why the Gottlieb tables on the Atgames are so lo-res.. you can't even read the blurry instructions.. I've heard the add on tables are much sharper.. hoping that's right !!
That's 100% accurate! The 22 included tables are (to me) a big disappointment. Not only could they have picked better selections; but the image quality on the tables is just bad. I LOVE Victory, but man the art is awful And YES, the add-on tables (Zacarraia in particular) are wonderful. They look WAY better!
Wow those are so nice.. I love magic pixel and taito games, so it's a shame they are exclusive to atgames, as those are super pricey and rare in Canada. Looks like a good time! :3

got the natural pinball pack yesterday and after firmware update, " I never have cause it was working" and come to find out they fixed the sound? no more farting in my hands on all my tables ?? Can you confirm this.. looking at the other packs now that it is not annoying...
I agree that best use of theme should be a criteria for your Taito rating video. I would also suggest playability, as measured by whether you'd spend quarters if the tables were in an arcade. Maybe also pick a favorite table from each set, then "best of show." Maybe instead of "best music," "least annoying music" might be more appropriate!
I definitely like this pack. I find myself gravitating towards Arkanoid more then the others. You do have to nudge heavily. I’m not completely sold on the campaign tables like Bubble Bobble. I mean they can be fun, but just doesn’t feel like pinball. Overall satisfying experience especially since I got it for 50% off.
Yeah, having played it a lot more since I shot that video, I'm not nearly as "into" Bubble Bobble as I was originally. Takes too long, too dependent on luck for me. I like the others better, but not Arkanoid! Those outlanes! Ugh.
Still waitibg for a reviewer who films pinball tables vertically.. You know vertical filming is shit, but i honestly think for vertical things like a pinball table its fine
I do my SHORT videos that way, take a look and let me know what you think. DO you think it's viable to film a whole regular segment that way? Hhhmmm, I'd actually not considered that. Maybe I'll give that a run.

And i believe even if you watch from a widescreen monitor you wouldnt have much quality loss anyways because filming somethibg vertical in widescreen would take the same ammount of space for that particular thibg as if you would show a vertical video on a widescreen monitor If you know what i mean.

Really like the look of the bubble bobble 2 table. It is extremely vibrant.
Under that ramp on Bubble Bobble is a hole target that releases the bubbles to do 50% damage

The Arkanoid table is kinda ruined by those obnoxious white arrows everywhere. Hopefully they can clean that up in an update.
