Hey FLEB, just as a thumbnail design tip:
The bottom right corner of your thumbnail where you're putting your logo is also when TH-cam puts the video timestamp. A lot of people in the 'youtube community' refer to it as The Corner Of Death.
Try designing your thumbnails with your logo in another place (maybe in the top corner)! It's a great logo but it's being covered up. Cheers!

After watching this one I'm reminded of playing quiz games with friends. When the person reading the question (who has the answer card) says "Oh come on this ones easy"... ITS EASY BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE ANSWER...

The solution to this one was amazing, really cool indeed! I've never been really good with puzzles but now that I'm following your channel my interest has been growing, I'll definitely go to get some here where I live (Kyoto, Japan) and start puzzling! This is probably my favorite puzzle that I've covered on this channel! I just absolutely love the way the shoes have to "dance" before you can fit the last piece. It's a really impressive design!
I guess its not symmetrical and moreso can be made from 4 or 2 exact pieces.

I accidentally stumbled upon these videos and now I can't stop watching them. Also, the little animation video is SUPER catchy, I love it.
Awesome. This solution reminds me of one of my favorite puzzles to give to friends. You need to fit four wooden Ts in a shallow box. On one side, the box is large enough for all pieces to fit in perpendicularly and people solve it fairly quickly. Flip it over, and the box is slightly smaller requiring a solution that takes a bit more time to figure out.

I would have really struggled here - in part because I would have assumed the white needed to be fully covered by the pieces. But even still I don't know if I could have ever done the rotation/expansion move.

I have to figure them out. For this one, I figured the spur would have to go in last, so I actually worked backwards and found the final state first!
There are about a dozen or so puzzles strewn about my home that I haven't been able to solve yet...

FLEB I just finished watching Xbox puzzle... Did you solved them all by your own? I would stuck for days on these puzzles!
Some of them were solved with my puzzle team, as part of a puzzle competition. The Xbox puzzle is an example of that.
Some, like this puzzle, I solved alone.
It's really a matter of time and practice. I'm going to start making some puzzle techniques videos, to try to show how I approach these types of puzzles.

I agree on the beauty of the endshape, though I think there's an mathematical "ugliness" in the puzzle: the given square is a little larger than 7x7, to make the diagonal position fit. So, we're tricked by optical resemblance, rather than challenged by logical mathematics. In a strict 7x7 square the given solution (which I found easily but rejected) is impossible.

When did mathematics become so stiff. Mathematics is about changing and manipulating with numbers. I feel this is a representation of reality. There's no such thing as an exact 7x7 irl anyways, imperfection exists. But in this case, the imperfections is what made room for an impossible shape in a seemingly 7x7 box to exist. A twist on our own rules.
