@@zedhead90 Yes the mechanics could be refined and well tuned more for the most part though I find the mechanics solid nothing spectacular it's the world building and the art direction that draws me into their games so unique.

This rapid fire was so good XD This felt very natural and like a true return to form for this format. I can't imagine how hard it must be to make these consistently this good when you can't talk to the developers in person. Great job Alex.
The rewinding time power would be a logical next step for the Dishonored series when it comes to the stop time ability. Or imagine using the time piece to see 10secs into the future to see your success rate and with the power of ps5 u should be able to teleport a lot farther
Hey guys thanks for doing all these spotlight videos on Deathloop where every other games site seems to ignore it! Question: will we see the goddamn UI and menus in any of the upcoming gameplay videos you are going to upload? I am hyped for the game but as a game UI aficionado I'm still annoyed we've gone this long without actually seeing how the menus look in-game.
Please do not put those meme reaction clips in future interviews, same with the floating equations. It makes it feel like I am watching a children's Roblox video. The comment about wanting to "play it up in the edit" shows you had the wrong philosophy while editing this. Your main audience for these videos genuinely want to hear the developers insights, and presenting those clearly and professionally should be the goal. Game Informer is good because it typically holds itself above the standards of dime a dozen "gamer news" channels. Adding stuff like snap zooms and editing the devs actual words for a joke is throwing out the only thing that makes GI stand out. I enjoy GI's content but it has taken a worrying turn towards more generic clickbait youtuber stuff lately, please do not go down that road.
Gotta agree, the best of this series were ones like Spider-Man or Dreams where there was legitimately just questions and answers - the questions can be funny but you gotta play it dry with the editing otherwise it’s not enjoyable! That being said, I think this kind of interview is just difficult on Zoom. Still a great interview!
Only thing I'm worried about is this game being short considering how he describes Blackreef. I love the Dishonored series, so I want this game to last for a while
Todd Howard constantly does what he can to improve and do something different even tho people think he does the same thing over and over: why he hasn’t made another Elderscrolls game yet
lmao at that last question being "Are you a good sport?" After him clearly and justifiably getting a bit bothered by the number of completely asinine questions. Still actually a good sport though. Also I just realized how powerful the moniker "good sport" could be in our current the age of cultural awareness.
Prey = dishonoured in space Deathloop = time loop dishonoured Arkane I feel like tend to use animations and similarly looking power up/ability in their games. So that's why I feel like Deathloop, Prey and dishonoured all move the same

Don’t worry, it will remain as a timed exclusive for PS fans, which I’m gutted about because I’m so excited to play it! But Sony shelled out the money for it and therefore they will no doubt have it on a years timed exclusivity! In my opinion, for as much as I’ve doubted Sony’s judgement in the past, they couldn’t have picked a better title from the upcoming Zenimax library! Microsoft will ensure that all contractual obligations are met and this is one of them 🙂
Awesome interview, but I don't know could you drop the jokes? I know you're trying to have fun and that, but it's good to come to these videos to see what you can think of to pick their brains and that. Being in a unique position to ask these questions.
As a sort of physicist myself, I’d say from the outside you’d see the end of the game only, when the time loop finally breaks. The rest is lost to any observer that is not inside the loop. You cannot see what’s inside a hose, only the water go in on one side and then out the other.
3:00 his favorite ability is.. Double jump.. Wow so I'm guessing there really aren't that many interesting traversal abilities if "double jump" is his favorite? Still haven't finished the video. But why does it seem like the Devs are shying away from like actually showing the game in action for a prolonged period? If the female character is integral to the gameplay then why don't I understand what the hell she is doing mechanically yet? Shouldn't that be a key feature? Why does it matter that it's a loop? And not just a single level where you reload it and keep trying till you complete it? Like, what does it being a loop actually do for you gameplay wise that just having a level didn't do? I feel like these things should be explained. There's no time limit, and things don't happen on a schedule, so is it really a loop? Or just one big level.

Watching their games gives me a distinct feeling. I can tell it's theirs by the vibe. And I love it.
The arkane games always have a unique and stunning art style.

I’m just worried about how Arkane games always have clunky, slightly unresponsive controls on consoles and that doesn’t exactly gel with FPS gameplay.
