What is ASMR?
ASMR is a physical reaction to sound, sometimes even causing a warm tingling sensation. Side effects may include: feelings of relaxation, calmness, comfort, moments of entertainment, followed by the intense need to nap. I've been watching asmr since 2012 and making them since 2016, with the goal of creating videos I wished to see more of in the community.

Not super many things give me traditional tingles but as soon as someone gets suuuuuper up close to the microphone my back is having a rave.

You should make merch with random quotes of yours like "It's not- I repeat not- tortellini tuesday" and "the perks of getting lost that often is getting good at it"(-from the lost in the woods asmr) :D

The first video I saw several months ago, and the one that sold me, he said something like "they call this the reach-around of ASMR" and I couldn't stop laughing for 10 minutes. I want that on a mug next to his creepy smile face.

I watch asmr really frequently too, and I find that gently just running the tips of my fingers on my lower back can help bring some tingles back. What also works is finding people you’ve never watched and watch them for a bit ,

I’m isolated right now and cant see my girlfriend cuz her roommate is sick and we don’t want to risk anything, especially since at least 10 people in our small town have covid19. My first asmr video was a College Humor parody of asmr. I had never heard of asmr but even their parody video was giving me tingles so I looked it up on TH-cam and got so many more tingles from all the legit asmrtist. Now I don't get tingles anymore
