And to add to that from all the videos I've been watching it seems that the simple quick designs like the one you just did are the ones that sell better maybe than the more intricate designs with a lot of graphic on it? What are your thoughts on that?
Great question! Etsy is a different story, but on Amazon my best sellers are typically a black t-shirt with a simple design (either all white or something like a retro sunset). I do sell some more detailed shirts, but I like to prioritize making more “good” designs than just a couple that take me tons of time.

Hannah I really appreciate your videos and have learned so much. My question is if I'm doing this as a part time side hustle do I need to get a business certificate or file as a sole proprietor or can I just open an additional checking account in my personal bank and just file a 1099 in addition to my normal tax return?

I was tasked with creating t-shirts/sweatshirts for my specific dept. About 60-75 pcs. When I create the design, where is the best place to have them make it.
Hi Hannah! Do you ever get rejections saying that it infringes trademark, but when checking TESS, there are no trademarks? This has happened twice for me and I’m afraid of being banned. I’ve emailed Amazon asking why, but was hoping for your input. Thank you!!
Is there a way to offer higher quality shirts on Amazon, or should we just not care? I’ve bought so many shirts on Amazon that are rough, heavy, oversized and crappy quality. I’m wondering if that alone would then give me a bad review.
So bummed, I did everything that it said in the video to get approved by Amazon, but I still got denied. Maybe there's another way to get approved that I'm not aware of...
Yeah I've applied twice with 2 different accounts and denied both times. I already have a t-shirt business online and a successful TH-cam channel, but was denied. Not sure what they are looking for. A lady above 6 months ago said she was approved and asked "now what, do I do, make designs?" How does she get approved and not us?
What happen if we use some phrase which status is Dead in TESS, but after we upload such design with that phrase and that phrase is reopen. Do we have to pull back our product with that phrase?
This is technically something that could happen with any phrase. It could be registered at anytime. I don’t stress about designs already uploaded, but if you go a long time between uploading a certain phrase, it’s a good idea to check again.
I know I've been emailing you too but I wanted to post here in case anyone else had this issue - my Amazon Merch account got denied! Can I try to reapply?
I believe in their terms they say that they do not want you to apply again, so if I were attempting to a second or third time I would not use the same info. If they have that personal info in their database I am thinking you'll be rejected again.

Great questions!! Amazon merch will do all the fulfillment for you so you don’t have to connect anywhere else! I use png files for all my products!
I'm in the UK. Does that matter?
You can still apply to the Merch program in thr UK!
So i do need a business register for me to sign in??
You can just sign up as an individual!
I was tasked with creating t-shirts/sweatshirts for my specific dept. About 60-75 pcs. When I create the design, where is the best place to have them make it.
I would suggest creating an account on Printify (linked in description) and ordering wholesale from there.
@@hannahebeling thank you
Hi Hannah!
Do you ever get rejections saying that it infringes trademark, but when checking TESS, there are no trademarks?
This has happened twice for me and I’m afraid of being banned. I’ve emailed Amazon asking why, but was hoping for your input.
Thank you!!
Sometimes this happens when you put something not on your design, but in your description and bullet points.
Please Is it possible to use a standard verified Amazon account for this merch program?
You have to create a totally new application.
@@hannahebeling Ok, thanks
How is this free when you have to pay for other downloads ?
Is there a way to offer higher quality shirts on Amazon, or should we just not care? I’ve bought so many shirts on Amazon that are rough, heavy, oversized and crappy quality. I’m wondering if that alone would then give me a bad review.
You could switch to only uploading on the “premium” shirt, but it’s a little more expensive.
@@hannahebeling Thank you
Pls how to upload in amazone
I have another video tutorial about this!
is this free website Merch informer?
I know I've been emailing you too but I wanted to post here in case anyone else had this issue - my Amazon Merch account got denied! Can I try to reapply?
I believe in their terms they say that they do not want you to apply again, so if I were attempting to a second or third time I would not use the same info. If they have that personal info in their database I am thinking you'll be rejected again.
My application also got denied
I got denied 😢
After amazon have accepted my account, i have deducted money from my credit account from amazon, what is this fee? Monthly fee?
Amazon Merch on Demand should never deduct money from your account. Are you sure the is not Amazon Seller central or another site?
