This tank is definitely one of the most balanced tier 10 tanks in the game imo. Great armour with some weak spots, good pen, great dpm, decent mobility

Im play the IS-M right now and the amount of teir 10s that i play and also cant pen is insane, i think wargaming needs to make it where only premium teir 8s can face teir 10s and normal teir 8s only can face teir 9s

I was also curious since the game has gotten 10x worse in the balance department since then.

Yeah its good, but if the AVRE slaps you for full pen, your in trouble. Also the AVRE does damage no mater what. If it pens = allot of damage, if no pen splash damage 500+ no armor can block. Its very balanced tank the AVRE is.
