That would be great on a divers BCD (buoyancy compensting device). How a diver can go up or stay in one place in the water column on a dive. A whistle is one of those pieces of safety equipment that is necessary. Like a dive knife. Especially at night. But also in rough surf (where because of the wave action you might not always be visible) or just to get attention in a hurry if you need it. Due to it being plastic it won’t corrode in salt water and with no moving parts, rugged/crush resistant.
