Okay……its clear you’ve been a good boss hence the action. People get too comfortable, its not even funny. He took an advantage of your kindness. Do what makes you happy, he has stressed you enough.
The problem started here "" "'YOU MAY TAKE THE CAR HOME" " he took it literally 😂 And how was he gonna get back home in the middle of the night if he drove to Aneles house?
Fire him completely. Don't ever use him again. That's what I detest about Africans sometimes; they take too many liberties once they see your goodness.
Pay him- he’s likely a struggling driver… you can afford to pay him. Then fire him. Just pay him because you’re a good person and you can. It’s the king thing to do. But end the business relationship
The people saying to pay him are the same people who leave work without notice and expect their colleagues to cover for them and expect full pay at the end of the month! No wonder nothing works in this country!!! Common sense is not common!
@@pmn2831 He should have thought about that before disrespecting his employer. It doesn't sound like he has even apologized for his unacceptable actions.
@@malfan my thoughts exactly, he has the nerve to not only not explain himself but to also jump straight from his mistake to wanting his money without acknowledging it.
Pay him, and then invoice him for the costs you incurred! Exonerate yourself and pay him. You don't want your name in his mouth when he goes to his sangoma!
No Anele do not pay the driver, after so much stress that he caused you. Instead pay Lungani more money. He must pay you for Emotional damage. Incurred costs was too much SO DO NOT PAY your driver
I was once in a similar position, just get one Mr delivery guy in a bike to deliver something there and take the picture of your car,and so you know for a fact it's your car ,then get the tracker or someone to wait there and dont move and don't loose track of the car. The security guys at the complexes hmm, hmm the cost of getting tracker there , mind you tracker charges per hour. A counter invoice is what's due to your driver.
ANELE is one hundred percent about not paying the guy BUT living in a crime infested and very violent country like ours,I implore her to just pay the guy and cut all ties with him. That guy can get one of his friends or pay someone as little as R1000 or less to do the unthinkable and we'll have the misfortune of reading the headlines about it.Just pay pay the guy Anele!!
But Anele you were not specific enough as to whose home the car should be taken to. If the case went to court, he would possibly win. You should have specified the exact address of where home is 🤣🤣🙈
She said take it home there is someone ready to receive the car. Clearly she is talking about her home! She just didn't say 'take it home'. Also. When they found him he couldn't explain himself. If it were an honest mistake he would have been stunned but been honest about it. His reaction was that of a very guilty man.
You should pay him and minus any "real" expenses incurred for recovering the vehicle. You have to take him to a civil case for damages for the "emotional damage". It's not rocket science.
Anele mst pay bcz she released him late, it's nt right to say go home nje at 21h00 ngantoni na cc ngok? Let's be honest guys plus Anele said thathimoto uye ekhaya 🤣. He probably wanted to impress somebody, pretending to own the car...however, what he did not was not right. Pay him half and break all contact.
Great decision Anele. I fired my driver on the spot for doing something exactly similar to this.
Pay him his fee, minus the costs you incurred trying to locate the car. The fee you had to pay your PA for that extra work, cellphone costs, etc.
What happens if those costs exceed the money he was supposed to get? He should just get nothing.
