This is what a car I love.
Switch is for the fog lights.
That's a turbo 2 in the Daytona. Just look at the intake
you still got this thing? would of hated to see it get scrapped.
Well, sort of. The car itself was a little rustier in areas that mechanically mattered than I felt comfortable sorting out, so I took everything good from it and will be putting it into my Rampage (also an L-body). The GLH spirit and a lot of its parts will live on but with a truck bed. There wasn't much left that I took to the scrap yard.
It was a really hard decision :( The aftermarket just isn't there for these vehicles.
What are you doing with the leftover omni parts? I have an 85 glh turbo.
@@snaph where are you located? Definitely interested in what ever is leftover if you're not super far.
in 1992 i bought my granma’s 1986 metallic silver dodge Omni. One of my favorite cars. This car was fast eventhough it was the model without the turbo engine.
I made a windshield banner across the top it read “omniac” & with pinstripe on rear hatchback I made the dodge pentastar emblem. I tinted the side n rear windows black. I put a smaller 3 spoke racing steering wheel n replaced the shift knob with a real “8” ball using JB weld! Of course the stereo was a “pullout” Kentwood! It came with light weight aluminum rims on BF Goodrich low profile tires. Cut the tail pipe back a little n put a dual chrome tipped tuned exhaust pipes!
I miss that car.
Living your best 90s life right there!
