as a Korean woman in 20s, I think nowadays as kpop more focus on global market and a lot of groups came out, kpop actually became rather maniac area in Korea(also kpop was more widespread when idols were shown on national TVshows alot, but they ususally go to TH-cam channel or memberships nowadays😢). So besides kpop lovers, many people have no idea about idols actually! I think it would be similar in other countries too, but yes so I believe these girls would have not known Treasure before show.
Also, I felt Treasure is more popular in global fandom than Korea, I myself also got interest from Shining Solo😊❤
