However, it was a big blunder and mistake for Israel leadership and IDF commanders to scale down brigades from GAZA and failure to enter Rafah to eliminate Hamas, rescue hostages and stop more IDF dying in battle fields and more Gaza civilians sufferings. It was a big mistake for Prime minister Netanyahau to listen to President Joe Biden and Democrats who wants to save Hamas. The shorter the battle the better. It will be painful but not prolonged.
Don't allow Hamas to return to cleared areas already captured by IDF. The more you prolong the war the more your enemies come up with new strategies i.e ICC, Joe Biden holding ammunition, Schumer blocking bills in senate, South Africa rushing to ICC, UN coming up with Resolutions recognizing Palestine.
