    A couple minor errors I made:
    When calculating the outs for the flush draw example, I made a mistake. As one of the four Aces would be a heart, there would only be 8 additional outs, for a total of 23, not 24.
    I also should have also said that when the dealer does not qualify, then the Ante pushes.
    For more in depth information about the odds and strategies for this game I highly recommend Wizard of Odds' page on Ultimate Texas Hold'em! wizardofodds.com/games/ultimate-texas-hold-em/

    Is the second-highest kicker counted like in poker? In your K3 example, if dealer had KQ or KJ? A little tougher to count the outs as exactly Kings, more like ~1 out for the 3 possible Kings-having-a-higher-second-kicker hands.

    • @allcasinoaction
      @allcasinoaction  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The counting outs strategy only factors in one card outs so not perfect but you would count possible pairs and possible high cards that can beat you. As well as one card straights and flushes.

    Theres a casino where i play that gives you 5% of extra chips to play regards to you buyin, if you buy for example 20,000 they give you 1,000 in extra chips, but this chips doesnt have value, you need to play them and win, and they replace this chip with a value chip that now is real money. So my strategy is to buyin high and use this extra chips to play, other thing of these extra chips, you have to put them on top of the ante, for example if you put 100 usd in the ante, then you can put the extra chip of 100 on top of your ante bet, and only can be equial to the ante, and if i win the ante, i win 200 usd, so im using this strategy to have a little bit of edge on the game. What do you think about

    I've played this game for 7 years and have the strategy down to the dot....but the dealer not qualifying...and not "winning" the blind when you win and "losing" the blind really kills your buy in. I can't stress this enough...Gotta 4x when you can and do it...Q6s J8s... etc but sometimes you'll run into the dealer hitting everything and just screwing you over. You really need the dealer to "qualify" so your ante gets paid when you play. The blind is one thing, but those ante's add up. And if you end up on a day where your "winning" with the dealer not qualifying then you are basically bleeding slowly.

    One thing!!! Please in the case that is what occurs in the reality of the game, we play a full table or close to it, and we see each other cards, so yes, we actually have the information of 14 cards, even before the flop!!!
    How much does that increase our odds!!?? In your city they let players do it as well??

  • @iamric23
    @iamric23 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    At 9:29 of the video, the dealer turns over all the cards, instead of the 1st 3, why did this happen. Also, not 100 % sure about one other thing. To beat the dealer, does the dealer need a certain hand in order for the table to win?

  • @coopersilberling6883
    @coopersilberling6883 ปีที่แล้ว

    So basically if your hand wins, you are paid out 1:1 on your play bets (comparable to the dealer “calling” your bet technically like in a regular game would be?) and then only paid out on your ante and blind according to the blind payout

    Hi, this is the best explain on 21 out. If you have an app to do that it will be great for players of this game. I would tell people about this video who regularly play with me at local casinos. I see majority of them just bet 3x on A or K high at preflop and muck their hand if they get nothing after the river. I just "eye ball" my card if I see I have at least a card that higher than the highest card on the board then I call, LoL.🤔

    Hey there, I greatly appreciate this in depth tutorial. Hopefully you still react to these comments because I have 1 important question; on paired boards where the dealer automatically qualifies you get paid out more on average than on non paired boards. Doesn't that mean that you should be defending your high card hands on paired boards more frequently than your high card hands on non paired boards? Since the price you pay on the river is 1x and your return differs based on whether the dealer qualifies or not. Paying 1x to defend 3x payout for example only has to work 1 in 4 times as opposed to 1x to defend 1x payout which has to work 1 in 2 times. So it feels like calculating the dealers outs (21 as you mentioned in the video) varies based on the expected price vs return ratio. Please let me know if what I just said makes any sense at all. Thanks a lot!

  • @erdaddy5845
    @erdaddy5845 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why do the blind bet and the trips bet pay differently? They're both based on your two hole cards and the 5 community right? So if you get a royal, you only get 50x on the trips, and 500x on the blind?

    • @azzyf6635
      @azzyf6635 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Two that’s just how the game is. The trips bet is a bonus bet that pays if you hit trips or higher, whether you beat the dealer or not (the trips can even be on the community cards). On the other hand, you lose the trips bet if you don’t hit trips or higher, even if you win the hand. The trips bet can be great for a big burst of chips when you hit something like a full house, but it’s a riskier spot to play on. The biggest payouts (royal and straight flush) luckily have very large payouts on the blind itself even if you aren’t playing the trips bet.

    • @allcasinoaction
      @allcasinoaction  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You have to make the best 5 card hand possible with your 2 cards and the 5 community cards. If you and the dealer have the same pair, then it goes to who has the higher card (the kicker).

    Its interesting that the 1st hand you show AFTER your tutorial, you dont follow the recommended strategy. Betting 2x the Play with 98 after the flop of J106 when you have not paired and only have an open ended draw is not the optimal play. You should only bet 2x if you have paired the board. Am I wrong?

    • @MrBottlecapBill
      @MrBottlecapBill ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. There are a LOT of cards on the table in this game it's very COMMON for good hands to end up terrible and bad hands to end up amazing. You can lose a lot of money very fast......or win a lot very fast but you need to be able to stay in the game to walk away with profit. I watch a lot of UH at the casino and most people never walk away with anything on this game because they go in too hard too fast and they're out of the game before they know what hit them.

      This has become my favorite table game. Don't think you mentioned the requirement for the dealer to qualify. Excellent video though, thanks.

    The Seminole Casinos in Florida deal the 5 community cards first, then take the first two cards, with the players taking the second, third two cards, etc. This apparently gives them an edge as most regular players have noticed a higher house edge since they started doing this a few years ago.

      Statistically, it should make no difference if it's coming from a freshly shuffled deck. People are just observing variance in action.
