Your salvation is none of your business. You cannot produce birth. Eternal life is happening to you not because of you. He's a big God. Grace outweighs sin and only one has been imputed to us.
The Lord Jesus has lead me here earlier this year. I even bought the book. The Holy Ghost leads people to this man's account to help them. The books of today make it seem that if you're not joyful all the time that you're not a Christian. This book is honest. The Lord Jesus has used this book to bring me comfort and peace.

Can't stop thoughts.. although this could be satan or a thorn in the flesh.. our doubts regardless are brutal... I love this ANEKO Press! Thank you sooo much!
Very glad to hear your comment, T A! Regarding thoughts, I recall hearing an old author say that we do need to be in control of our thoughts, and 2 Corinthians 10:5 comes to mind: "take every thought captive to obey Christ." I think it is a victory that can be won, but it can take time, prayer, and deliberate effort on our part. Praise God, all things are possible though, through Christ. May the Lord bless you, help you, and keep you.

Thank you for your comment, Daniel. I'm glad you're finding this message edifying. May the Lord continue to bless you and lead you even through the difficulties.
oh Lord Jesus!!!! Great is thy faithfulness!!!!! All my desire is before thee!!!! Unto thee do I lift up my soul!!!!! My soul followeth hard after thee!!!!! Say unto my soul, "I am thy salvation"!!!!
I am going through this, if you are being attacked like this it's because you are a son of God and the devil hates you but he can NEVER EVER separate you from Gods love no matter how despairing it may seem. Keep listening to the book. John Bunyan went through this and the Lord used him to document the experience for us. Praise God.
This is a great autobiography because it talks about what was really going on in his mind as he was desperately trying to escape his sin and confusion, and to follow the Lord. It gives hope to the otherwise hopeless sinner.
I want to be loved by God the way He loves His children. Even after 23+ years of coming to Christ I still battle with whether I'm saved or not. I can identify with the struggles of Bunyan and it's terrible. I would like for God to also shine His light on me and never to let me fall away or be deceived. Lord, please have mercy on me and help me. Amen.
We have to take the Lord at his word. If he says we are saved by faith, then we are saved by looking to him for salvation. We can take that to the bank. But, I think you have it turned around. You say you want to be loved by God the way he loves his children. But your focus must be on how much you love the Lord, not the other way around. With your parents, my guess is that you loved them a lot. Most children do, even if home life isn't great. It's natural for children to love their parents. In a healthy relationship, we think more about how much we love others than how much they love us. Focus more on your love for God, rather than on his love for you. Most people get that switched around, and are constantly wanting God to love them more, when he already does! But because their focus is selfish, they end up spinning their wheels.
@jeremiahzeiset Yes, I love my mother. I didn't grow up with a father at home although he's still alive today. I didn't start developing a relationship with my father until the age of 35 being married and having children. I understand everything you say at least intellectually but it's difficult to internalize it. It's been like this for years. At times I fear whether the Spirit of God dwells in me or not. It's a terrifying thought that one would have to walk through life always wondering about my standing before God, yet I still pray to God. I've had this struggle since I was maybe 15 and it has followed me up until today and I'm 46 today. Thanks for the reply.
@@abemontes2518 I'm sorry to hear about your father being missing. But, that is where a heavenly Father can be very much appreciated. It sounds to me like you are focusing on yourself, rather than on God. We look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. And the more you live for him, e.i., having faith in him for salvation, obeying his commandments, foremost the greatest of loving him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, the more you will feel fulfilled by him. Why do you think that the greatest commandment is not to recognize how much he loves us? I think it is because he already does! And also, because he knew that we are so self-centered, that we would already focus too much on how much he loves us, rather than on how much we need to love him. Our job is to love and obey _him,_ his job is to love and provide for us. Focus on him more, and on yourself less.
I struggle with thoughts of the unforgivable sin as well. I am having a hard time right now, and I accidentally spoke it out loud, I was angry with the thoughts so I told God something I regret. Now I really think that I’ve done it, I know it, and I don’t know what to do. I don’t have conviction of sin anymore and my desires for God went away. Please pray for me..
Jacob, I so much wish I could give you some assurance, but that has to come from Jesus. Run to Jesus, be sincere in your repentance and in your confession to him and him alone. There's only one unforgivable sin listed in scripture, and that is blaspheming the holy spirit. It's true that there is such a sin, but many people mistake what they did, confusing what they did with blaspheming the holy spirit. It is only when people completely and with their entire heart rejects the Lord by his spirit that there's no forgiveness for sin. But, she said anyone who comes to him he will in no wise passed out. I do not think it is too late for you, but at the same time, you need to go to Jesus. I do not think he will fail in his promises to receive sinners who repent. But repentance mean you must be willing to change your life, whatever that involves, and trust him. The worst thing we can do is not trust Jesus, and do not love God with our heart soul mind and strength, and of course, our neighbor as ourself.
@@jeremiahzeiset I repented of willful sin that was for years and I have no excuse and I fear Hebrews 10:26-29 and God has been showing me everything in my life like it’s lining up with these scriptures so it’s scary. And I was sharing it with someone verbally and now I think for sure I’m guilty of committing it.. because it’s whosoever SPEAKETH against the Holy Ghost. The thing is I didn’t mean to but that may not be an excuse because Jesus said it’s unforgivable. Plus my mind and everything changed after I said it in my mind. So I really think God gave me over to delusion. I had pleasure in unrighteousness, I knew what I was doing, it’s not ok. If I don’t even have a desire to come to Him, how can I? All I can do is beg. Even my godly desires I had came from Jesus. I have hardly any. I don’t like the Change that happened. I actually wanted to fully repent and follow Jesus. It could be possible that I repented too late.. I should have listened to God. If I do have a desire again to go to Jesus, that’s good. But according to the Bible and my situation, there remains no sacrifice for sins but a fearful expectation of judgement. It’s up to God to have mercy on me or not..
@@Jacobchap We'll, I don't know what the answer is. But, I am not really sure that desire is what we need. Instead, we repent, confess, and humble ourselves before God in Christ, because it is the right thing to do, more than because of what we feel. But, at the same time, what you are saying is an indication that you do actually want to come to Christ. I feel like as long as you are experiencing any remorse, there must be hope. But, you must get that forgiveness and peace from Christ, not from people who may give false assurance. Fast and pray, seek the Lord, just as all sinners must. You have nothing to lose. I so much would like to help you, but Christ can, I believe.
@@jeremiahzeisetWithout being tested and tried by the devil. John Bunyan’s testimony would’ve been much weaker than his story here in his book that God led him to write. The devil tried to kill Jesus and God used it all along as the perfect opportunity for the only True and Holy and Perfect sacrifice unto Him. Where in Scripture has God not redeemed His people? Where had God failed to redeem the time for those who trust in Him? “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 NLT Yes God uses our hardest trials to make us into a more pure image of His Son Jesus Christ. “We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” Romans 5:3-5 NLT
@mattrayhons2011 I wonder why you're curious about this? All sin is evil, opposed to God. One thing for sure, John Bunyan found grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
@mattrayhons2011 Ok, that makes sense. Well, to feel the weight and guilt of sin is necessary, before being able to repent and turn to Christ, right? In that sense it's a good thing. I hope and trust that you can find peace in Christ, as Bunyan also did.
@mattrayhons2011 Interesting question, but I don't know the answer. I don't know your situation. But, I do know people who have fallen into sin, and repented, and forgiveness and cleansing in the Lord. Doesn't that happen to all of us? And I do believe the enemy is the one that wants to keep you from Christ, not Christ Himself...
@@TheLimitlessLegacy Surely He can do that. I don't know what your role is in letting go of sin, but ask Him to save and deliver you and to help you and show you how to escape the problem of sin and the flesh, and surely he will.
Further,A Question has been Corroding me this Month. I am 17.So,It is Obvious that My real life/struggles are Going to Begin from Now on or atleast,The People near me think like this and I also believe the same. So,My Question is: Is Life Truly Very Very Dark? Am I Strong enough or has The Almighty given Me enough Strength to Fight the Upcoming Problems of Life and the Evils within the Society and within Myself? I hope that I could make You Understand my Situation as well as My Question. Thank You.
Pakeerna, thanks for being courageous enough to ask these questions. "Is life truly very dark?" Yes, I think so. There are lots of things to trip us up, things of the world, the enemy, and our flesh. _the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things enter and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful._ Mark 4:19 Is it possible to deny the things of the world, the enemy, and the flesh? Praise the Lord, yes! _For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus._ Titus 2:11-13 Overcoming isn't necessarily easy, but it is possible. It takes time (to learn, reading the Bible, and praying), and it takes sincerity. Most of all, it takes faith. This is the secret to gaining faith: _So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God._ Romans 10:17 May the Lord give you the desires of your heart to follow Him!
I understand exactly how you feel. No one can really answer this adequately, Sometimes scriptures offer little help when you are so depressed. I go 1 day at a time and cry out to God for strength. I listen to the Bible on my tablet and look for prayers on youtube. There are many. Hang on. You are loved even when you don't feel it!
Our life in Christ is not dark, the world we live in is. At your age you will encounter many, temptation's, challenges, etc. Each day we all must pick up our cross, God will never leave you nor forsake you. As long as you seek him DAILY and I mean daily you will not walk alone and will be able to face anything and everything. In Christ alone put all your trust.

Bunyan seemed to believe in Calvinism. That even if a person wanted to belong to the Lord he wasn`t welcome but thrown to hell: "Its not about a mans willl but about Gods` mercy." Doesn`t line up with the rest of the Word..
@@jeremiahzeiset I'm not a calvinist...but i think Bunyan was and that is what the calvinists believe. They believe that if some wanted Jesus but wasn't chosen they couldn't get saved, they think that only the chosen can get saved.
@@2Chor5_13 I don't know if I am a Calvinist or not, or even what that term really means. But, I do believe scripture. I don't know what else to do, if the Bible isn't true, then I guess we don't have to believe it. But if the Bible is true, I don't know what else to do except to accept it. Here are a few verses, out of many that talk about God choosing us. Now, you approached it from a negative perspective. But God, from a positive perspective: And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Acts 13:48 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. John 6:44 So then, he has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy and he hardens whom he wants to harden. Romans 9:18
@@2Chor5_13 I am calvinistic and we do not believe that there is any God seeker whatsoever (Romans1-3), no person is seeking salvation who God is not already drawing to Himself. Thus there's the historic axiom "regeneration precedes faith"; God changes our hearts, gives us hearts of flesh and grants to us the gifts of faith and repentance and as a result of God's grace, we cry out to Him in faith and believe unto salvation. (Ephesians 2)

You're very welcome, Candice!
Aneko Press must surely have a library in heaven
Thanks, but I have a feeling when we get to heaven we will want nothing but the direct word of God :-)
@@Anekopress you're not wrong but I've loved reading some of your books and they have helped me x
That's wonderful, very glad that you were blessed by these books. May the Lord be praised!
Everything that the devil will try to do against you will only fulfil God plan In your life
That sounds good, but I'm not sure it's really true. The devil is seeking to devour and destroy, and far too many are letting him do exactly that.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Romans 8:28 NLT
Yes God uses our hardest trials to make us into a more pure image of His Son Jesus Christ.
“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”
Romans 5:3-5 NLT
Big thanks for the upload. Blessings!
You are very welcome. The Lord is great and greatly to be praised!
Thanks for posting 🙂
You are very welcome Jerry. The Lord is great and greatly to be praised!
@mattrayhons2011 You're welcome Matt. Don't give up. Having peace with God through Jesus Christ is worth more than anything else in the whole world.
TY so much!!!!
You are very welcome. The Lord is great and greatly to be praised (Psalm 48:1)
Im worse thatn this man. Much worse. Please pray for me
Do you think the Lord can deliver you from the bondage of sin that you are in?
@@jeremiahzeiset i have a hard heart and need God to soften it. Please pray for me!
@@TheLimitlessLegacy Surely He can do that. I don't know what your role is in letting go of sin, but ask Him to save and deliver you and to help you and show you how to escape the problem of sin and the flesh, and surely he will.
@@TheLimitlessLegacyJust Ask Him. Jesus Created us
Further,A Question has been Corroding me this Month.
I am 17.So,It is Obvious that My real life/struggles are Going to Begin from Now on or atleast,The People near me think like this and I also believe the same.
So,My Question is:
Is Life Truly Very Very Dark?
Am I Strong enough or has The Almighty given Me enough Strength to Fight the Upcoming Problems of Life and the Evils within the Society and within Myself?
I hope that I could make You Understand my Situation as well as My Question.
Thank You.
Pakeerna, thanks for being courageous enough to ask these questions.
"Is life truly very dark?"
Yes, I think so. There are lots of things to trip us up, things of the world, the enemy, and our flesh. _the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things enter and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful._ Mark 4:19
Is it possible to deny the things of the world, the enemy, and the flesh? Praise the Lord, yes! _For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus._ Titus 2:11-13
Overcoming isn't necessarily easy, but it is possible. It takes time (to learn, reading the Bible, and praying), and it takes sincerity. Most of all, it takes faith. This is the secret to gaining faith: _So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God._ Romans 10:17
May the Lord give you the desires of your heart to follow Him!
God children are the light of the world.

Thank you for your comment, Prakeerna. The genre of our audiobooks tends to be nonfiction, but we appreciate your suggestion. We're thankful to be able to do what we do.
What about what the Pharisees did when they committed the unpardonable sin?
Jesus Christ knows the hearts of all men. This man was ensnared by satan and the Lord had mercy on him.
Bunyan seemed to believe in Calvinism. That even if a person wanted to belong to the Lord he wasn`t welcome but thrown to hell: "Its not about a mans willl but about Gods` mercy." Doesn`t line up with the rest of the Word..
Do you think anyone who is not chosen by God would even want to be one of God's children?
But God, from a positive perspective:
And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Acts 13:48
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. John 6:44
So then, he has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
@@philipwatters629 thanks for this, I'm struggling so much with this.
