    Many negative comments here. It is very easy to make fun from a 1934 design from today`s perspective. To me it is an interesting concept plane and I give credit to designer for extravagant look.

    An interesting concept for sure and at least Breguet was aware that it should be able to defend itself against more agile opononents but the heavy fighter concept was flawed and even a BF 110 would have flown rings around this. Maybe the dutch Fokker G1 came closer because it was very nimble for it's size but it was never built in enough numbers to make a difference. And then there is the Mosquito of course.

    From the 1920s to 1940, Britain and France competed to see who could produce the most godawful hideous military aircraft. While Britain had a few outstanding examples, overall the lead was held by France.
    But with the liberation and reconstruction of France, following the war American influence intervened and while American designers may not have had the French flair for style, they at least had common sense, and French monstrosities disappeared from the aviation scene.
    Meanwhile, the unhindered British finally proved with their postwar designs that they had the staying power to consistently produce aircraft that only flew because the ground was too embarrassed to hold them.

Donc inutile !

    The BCR aircraft of l'Armee de l'Air were products of an early days' period of experiment with what to-day, with far different power & weaponry, most certainly would come under the heading of a 1930s 'multirole' war plane; unfortunately, the available machine guns & cannon of the time could not make the aeroplanes into any sort of successful 'flying fortresses' with the firepower then available.

  • @Confused_surprise
    @Confused_surprise 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ce que je trouve bizarre avec cet avion c'est la dénomination de "chasseur", parce que c'est quand même un engin assez lourd, et les 5 membres d'équipage le montrent bien. Je pense que même en tant que chasseur lourd ou avion d'attaque au sol cela ne l'aurait pas forcément rendu meilleur.
    Je suis loin d'être un expert, mais je pense qu'un tel appareil ne pouvait pas être aussi polyvalent que ça, à part pour se défendre avec ses tourelles, il n'a absolument rien d'un chasseur.
