After GNR, Metallica, Pistols and Nirvana i discovered Biohazard. I was in high school and it was ultimate boost of my life in general, couldn't believe the energy i had anywhere i went to.
Everlast is the real slim shady, house of pain wax even around before this and it was huge too. Or beastie boys, they've been around before everyone, even his black rappers
Even though nu-metal bands turned it into a gimmick and kitsch later on, this band proved that mixing rap and metal wasn't always a bad idea. Just imagine watching MTV circa 1995 and bumping into this stuff, damn these guys were ahead of their time, and still very underrated.
Walkin' five blocks every day to earn my keep It ain't easy when you're walkin' on these streets Runnin' on a tightrope it's a real thin line Thinkin' that you might die this time Some things will never change, a street education So close yet so far, just a block from the station Standin' on the corner, I might get taken out Five blocks to the subway, just five blocks away Five blocks to the subway, I can do that any day There's a local wise guy he owns the whole damn block It's easy doin' business when you're payin' off the cops Makin' money pushin' drugs wouldn't stop if he could Killin' kids in his own damn neighborhood Watch out for muggers and the pickpockets beware You get to play these games when you pay transit fare Trials and tribulations, a journey made each day This is my reality, the hardest game to play Standin' on the platform and I'm waiting for the train Good thing I'm underground, now it's startin' to rain Always stand alone, hold the wall up with my back Or else you might get pushed on to the tracks
it always bewilders me as to why these tough rockers sing about their fear of the mean streets, a five block walk to the subway, a walk that could end in death, yet the old lady that lives in the downstairs apt, and the little kids that live upstairs do that same walk everyday appearantly fearless. It's as if there's a mental illness that goes along with posing as a tough guy...
I’ve met bobby a couple times but i Met him around this time when I was like 14 or something but bobby has a fucked up face with a lot of scars and shit!!! So I guess they aren’t talking no shit here. Bobby’s a super nice dude but. I was watching slayer and realised he was standing next to us and he stayed with us the whole time too! I don’t care about famous people and their bs but it’s cool when ya meet a super humble and cool dude like that.
I remember being in my friends basment and his band would always play all kinds of BIOHAZARD,but when they played this I was fucked up laughing my ass off.
2012 = 5 blocks to the subway daily routine, business as usal ! 2020 = 5 blocks to the subway the Police asks : " Why are you on the road and who are you?!" xD :P ...
The worst parts of Brooklyn were really bad in the 1970's, 1980's and most of the 1990's when NYC was broke. It was made worse during the crack cocaine epidemic at its peak. Not just Brooklyn, but the worst parts of all of NYC was affected by this.
One of the best songs about the benefits of daily moderate exercise.
Biohazard has some of the sickest guitar riffs
Underrated band/song in my opinion. One of the best albums during the 90's
Na they are right where they need to be. Not everyone wants to be in the same category as the sellouts.

I was a Hip Hop fan and this Crossover thing started my Interest for Metal music.
Saw Biohazard 2 or 3 times at Studio 1 in Newark, New Jersey back around 93ish. It's 2023 and I'm still listening to the boys from Brooklyn🤘
One of the baddest bands from the day. Rockin all the way down in South Texas.
After GNR, Metallica, Pistols and Nirvana i discovered Biohazard. I was in high school and it was ultimate boost of my life in general, couldn't believe the energy i had anywhere i went to.
All of the above are well known bands except "Biohazard" Thank god you woke up to the underground :)

Greetings From Mystic Festival in Poland! Outstanding show!
Esta Banda en especial esta canción me lleva a escuchar muchas bandas mas, alla por 1996.
most underrated band ever

Walkin' five blocks every day to earn my keep
It ain't easy when you're walkin' on these streets
Runnin' on a tightrope it's a real thin line
Thinkin' that you might die this time
Some things will never change, a street education
So close yet so far, just a block from the station
Standin' on the corner, I might get taken out
Five blocks to the subway, just five blocks away
Five blocks to the subway, I can do that any day
There's a local wise guy he owns the whole damn block
It's easy doin' business when you're payin' off the cops
Makin' money pushin' drugs wouldn't stop if he could
Killin' kids in his own damn neighborhood
Watch out for muggers and the pickpockets beware
You get to play these games when you pay transit fare
Trials and tribulations, a journey made each day
This is my reality, the hardest game to play
Standin' on the platform and I'm waiting for the train
Good thing I'm underground, now it's startin' to rain
Always stand alone, hold the wall up with my back
Or else you might get pushed on to the tracks
Billy "always a fancy haircut" Graziadei
The greatest!
What a band!
This is their best song ever made by far...
So cool the people in your pits are amazing \\mm// Rock on

It's hard to imagine a group of street hooligans from the area who would want to rob a local old lady or a child.
Filmed at Flatbush Junction

These guys are exaggerating. I visited Brooklyn recently and found it quite charming.
Brooklyn before the 2000s was completely different
so damn right! I barely walk 2
Now nyc is so safe you go to central bookings for drinking a coke on the subway
I'm not from USA, i was in NYC last year specifically in Brooklyn, which seems a very cool and nice place. Was it dangerous back in the 90's?
