Thank you for the tutorial, I am wondering if I have to enable something for the info to pop up. Different to yours, mine would only show the description panel to the right, and won't show the image either. Any idea on how to deal with that?

Yes you have, look for the wrench icon that says identify setting, then check auto open form for single results and try again :)

Please ensure the field is editable. You can access this in the properties > attribute form > Photo then make sure the editable checkbox is checked
