I love Bridgestone balls I feel like I get more distance out of them and they feel so good when u hit it pure it’s better than prov1s but I still like tp5s
Been playing these for over a year and love them... so underrated and always left out of conversations about golf balls and happy to see you including them finally as I really rate them.
With my swing speed i have been playing the B RXS for several years... Durability is very good, feel is outstanding, overall a great ball! Freddie Couples has been playing the Yellow B RXS for several years as well (not that i am even remotely comparing myself to his game). I have to say that I also play the Vice Pro Soft and I think it also compares quite well to the B RXS but at a savings of about $15 to $18 per dozen but you are right that Bridgestone is overlooked
Currently playing the Vice Pro soft as its similar in terms of feel to B RXS, where Bridgestone wins hands down is that beautiful launch and flight it is so stable in windy conditions. Definitely worth the price when compared to Titleist's Pro V1.
I’ve been playing these for the last 10 months. Started with RXS that is supposed to be for slower swing speed and they were fine. Wanted to try the ‘Tiger’ ball and haven’t looked back. Great feel, great stability off the driver and from what I see, lots of spin on chips and pitches when I hit them well. (Sometimes takes me by surprise when I catch on really crisp as to how much check the have E.g. 20 feet short of the pin !)
What got me onto these golf balls was the Tour B RXS I'm concurrently trying out the BXS to be my permanent golf ball Love the spin control around the greens
Haven't played that one, however, this long time Callaway "soft" player switched to Bridgestone E12 late last year and now wonder how much I can get for several dozen rather high end balls. I have good wedges so stopping balls on the greens is seldom an issue with the E12's, what impresses is the way the longer clubs stop too. Overall I think Bridgestone would benefit a lot of casual golfers who spend WAY too much on balls. Most of us like scanning the rough for Titleists, they make a nice splash in the water hazards.
Top review Matt. Decided 6 months ago to commit to one type of ball to play for a year and chose these. Largely down to the price difference between them and pro v’s / c softs. Cant recommend them highly enough. Would urge anyone who likes a softer ball to give them a go.
Hey Matt , Love your content as a fairly new golfer, it’s good banter and helpful. Just watching the Bridgestone vid , can I give you a hand sprucing up the studio scenes ? Decoratively that is. Your content is really good , I am not looking to gain anything. I’d love to see you catch up on your friends Peter and Rick. Either way keep up the good work. Many of you tips have helped my dodgy golf game 👍
thanks Matt. Good video. Durability +.......I like to use golf balls till they are scuffed and beat up. I've never had a problem purchasing ProV1's. They hold up very well. Always looking at alternatives. Thanks for your work!
I play the Tour B RXS it works great for my swing speed. The ball is amazing in all aspects of my game. I can do one hop stops from 150 out on greens. Great durability., great flight.
Love these balls, been using them for 18 months. I do however find it cuts up a hell of a lot easier than pro vs that i used pretty much for 20 years. Good video. ⛳️🤙🏻
I am a high handicap hacker and love these balls, they feel nice off the club and have improved my game no end. Everybody has their own favorite but for me this one is king now, it can be pricey but I don't loose them!
Always happy when I find one of these in the rough. My ball tends to go back in the bag and I use the Bridgestone until I carve it out of bounds or fat it into a lake. I only buy new balls with my business brand printed on them, to give as prizes when I’m sponsoring a ntp or longest drive etc. My balls are generally eBay mint lakes balls or sometimes Costco specials - £1 a ball is good for me 👍🏻👍🏻
Loved your opening comments and ideas abou the golf products that Bridgstone produce.because, you are so correct. Bridgstone are a great manufacturer of golf equipment without having to pay millions to Profecionals
This is the ball I play, I started with the rxs and while playing on day found a perfect xs on the course ended up playing it and it was longer and spun way better, xs is my choice of ball
Great to see a review on these. I bought a 3 pack about a year and half ago before a round. I always used prov. First time round this particular course I shot 120plus. 3-4 years ago. Shoot 84 with this ball on the day. Needless to say I haven’t stopped using them. It seems to slow spin with driver and speed up backspin on irons. The next round out I played with a bloke who worked for Bridgestone in WA Aus and he said them and titliest are the only ones who don’t outsource their ball manufacturing. I highly recommend this ball it’s class!!
Been using bridgestone for years.. xs but now gone to the x £20 a dozen cheaper then titleist and ridiculously good in the wind.. came top three with titleist and srixon in the my golf spy survey
Great video matt. I have played with a sleeve of these before and felt nice. I would be very interested to see how the callaway chrome soft come out. I have used Kirkland’s for ages, but now trying chrome softs and they feel great too
@@pop2522 they cut up a little, but when they are atleast 3 times cheaper it’s hard to ignore. High spin around the greens is great with them. No problems stopping them
I chipped in from 35 feet to save a birdie in a scramble tournament with the tour b xs. This ball really surprised me with how well it performs. I bought a sleeve of 3 to try them out and walked away wishing I’d bought an entire box. These may knock the z star out of my bag.
Thanks for the review, love the thoroughness. I started with the RXS due to my driver swing being 95. Moved to the XS because it spins better and distance was about the same. I am now playing the Srixon Diamond because I get even better spin and comparable distance. I need spin help and the XS does spin well but the Diamond, which is not a "high spin" ball, spins even more for me. When I need a yellow ball though, I play a yellow XS.
Great review. I would like to see a review of the Bridgstone e12, which I believe is aimed more at golfers with slower swing speeds. You would need to hold back a bit to mimic a higher handicap golfer.
Tour B RXS has been my ball for a couple of years... At least ten metres longer on drives, spins better than a pro v yet doesn't rip off the greens like z stars do... Win win
Like you, Jason, the Bridgestone Tour B RXS is my go-to ball for the last 3 years, just found it softer off the club face than the XS but it has a reliable distance and a lovely feel around the green. If you shop around got some for under £30 at times, a ball bargain and nice to be different on the 1st tee as well. Loving my Bridgestones
I played these for a long time, more than a year. Price was a factor in why I chose them over the TP5 and Pro V1. They are really good balls BUT for an amateur 5hcp I couldn't get them to spin enough around the green, much less stopping power compared to the Pro V1 and because of this single factor, I'm playing Pro V1 now. Perhaps if my striking was "scratch" or better I could make it work but I'm a decent ball striker for my level and I have a better option for now.
I have been using the Tiger Stamp balls for the past 3 years. I thought about going to Prov1X I have a whole box untouched but still just received a whole box of Tour b xs and with a tournament coming up really can’t see my self switching. Just because I feel like I can control my driver so well. And wedges are stupid good. I do recommend if someone uses this ball you must be a good enough ball striker with mid irons to know when to club up and take spin off. If you don’t know how to control spin this ball will be difficult to like. I honestly like hitting Change up wedge shots and flighted irons Hardest part was learning to hit the low spinning driver when I wanted. Stock I would be around 25-2700 and great for controlling but if I want a high low spin it takes effort.
I like Bridgestone balls a lot, and not the expensive ones either. The 25 dollar models are very good, especially if money is an object, and it is with me.
Great review Matt. Been using these for a while and really like them. As I’m a 23 handicap then I get the Bridgestone extra soft for winter as they are much better value when I lose them. Let’s hope the B XS don’t get really popular and then the price goes up 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great ball all round, play them all the time and helped me to improve my handicap, still like the pro v and Srixon soft feel, but Bridgestone is the best out there in my opinion for quality and feel and putting
Best ball I’ve ever used.. would love for you to do a comparison with avx and the Bridgestone XS as those are the 2 preferences. I reuse pro V’s I find though to save $$$!
Matthew you have to straighten up in a line all your flags behind you in your studio...lol...Sorry my friend just my OCD when it comes to pictures / frames etc on the wall. Another great video keep coming with the great content...cheers
I play the BX, BXS and Pro V1x and the difference for me is putting because I have a soft face putter so the slightly firmer ball works better for me. The XS does stop on the green better for me.
Hey Matt, they’re a great ball but they used to be much cheaper in Australia and I used to play them. Now they’re the same price as Pro V1’s so don’t play either any more. Srixon Z star’s are cheaper and IMO comparable and I’ve switched over and am more than happy with their performance for my game.
Was hoping to see the bx too and maybe the other models on the course. Some ppl test them but at different swing speeds. Would be cool to see the slower swing speed balls played at a higher speed
Informative and interesting vlog Matt -good stuff. Pretty sure my local pro shops doesn't stock Bridgestone products so I'm unlikely to buy & try them as I always try to support my pro Cheers
Remember also that Matt’s durability test is not taking into account wear and tear from bunker shots with wedges which as we know is more realistic for the average golfer. Good review just the same but I’ll be sticking with the Callaway Chrome Soft Triple Tracks for now. 👍🏻🇦🇺
Matt, seeing your review I can't help but want to see you use it for one of your "in the red" rounds. To get the full experience of the ball. Please please please would you do that??
Been playing the tour b rxs the freddie couples ball for 3 years its a great ball last really well spin is great nearly as good as a pro v ball but at 38 quid a dozen cant fault them one bit a great ball....👍⛳️👍
Hi matt could you do a review on the tp5 little triangle design on them I recently played a round where I hit a tree on 2 different holes then on the tee it sounded cracked on inspection the outer shell was in tact
Pro V1s are $72.99 CAD before tax now, and B XS are 64.99. For my game I get the same performance out of a Wilson Triad that's $49.99 so I'll stay with those.
On the course, the ball is longer as in the studio. (this Dimples and air) This ball and Mizuno blades...🥰 And it performed ober years, like the B330s and the Nike Platinum(made by Bridgestone). Tiger played them all and he know why🤗 ...and i too😇

I have every type of the Bridgestone ball (inc tiger woods version). My mum got a load of brand new 1s from the charity shop for dirt cheap 😂 won’t b playing them though as I’ll just lose them! 😂
I used to play the Bxs I changed to pro v 1x. I’m not really sure why I did. The bxs was good only thing I didn’t like was how soft it felt off the putter
Are you testing the ball on the thumbnail as well (B RXS)? Something I find problematic about balltesting is that producers of golf balls don't sell testing packs with different balls. Her were I live in Norway, they don't sell sleeves of three. Only packs of 12 balls are for sale.
Been playing them all season and haven't thought about another ball. Buy the trifecta box and its $36/dozen. Best ball i've ever played and cheapest by far in its class. If tiger uses them, why don't you?
I love Bridgestone balls I feel like I get more distance out of them and they feel so good when u hit it pure it’s better than prov1s but I still like tp5s

I have been playing bsx balls for about a year, I'm not a good golfer, but when I do make a good strike those balls fly amazing. Thanks for the video.
I've been playing the Tour B RXS for the last couple of years. Superb feel, spin and very durable for a mid-priced ball.
I love it too. It feels great off the face and the ball is pretty much the same distance-wise as the v1x.

Love these balls, been using them for 18 months.

Just tried the B RXS. Fantastic ball ticks all the boxes. I’m 75 and that ball is now my ball!
Always happy when I find one of these in the rough. My ball tends to go back in the bag and I use the Bridgestone until I carve it out of bounds or fat it into a lake. This is the ball I play, I started with the rxs and while playing on day found a perfect xs on the course ended up playing it and it was longer and spun way better, xs is my choice of ball
I love the dimple pattern. It's similar to the old Callaway HX Tour that I used to shoot my first sub par round. Brings back good memories.
Benn bombing these for a couple of years. TOTALLY UNDERRATED!!!!!! The ball is a par 5 killer.
Great to see a review on these. I bought a 3 pack about a year and half ago before a round. I always used prov. First time round this particular course I shot 120plus. 3-4 years ago. Been playing these XS for the last 2 years. Love them from all shots.
Good call - bought the boy 2×RX and old dad RXS (yellow) last year. Can't fault them. BTW they do rather good tyres too!
Been using bridgestone for years.. xs but now gone to the x
£20 a dozen cheaper then titleist and ridiculously good in the wind.. came top three with titleist and srixon in the my golf spy survey
Great video matt. I have played with a sleeve of these before and felt nice. I would be very interested to see how the callaway chrome soft come out. I have used Kirkland’s for ages, but now trying chrome softs and they feel great too
So hard for me to get off the Kirklands. I can't notice a $20 to $40 difference per dozen compared to the others
@@pop2522 they cut up a little, but when they are atleast 3 times cheaper it’s hard to ignore. High spin around the greens is great with them. No problems stopping them

Is it low spinning off the driver?
@@j_lawit's low spinning with every club. Low compression balls spin less than high compression balls

I love the Bridgestone rxs balls. However I switched to the vice balls because they are even cheaper and I love them too.

Sensational golf ball - always good when playing the limited edition version with TIGER stamped on the ball
great ball, have had my lowest rounds using the B XS
Awesome review mate! Would love to see you do a Head to Head of the B X vs B XS maybe
That dimple pattern, specifically depth helps keep the flight low and the spin down off the tee.
Played it. Like it more around the greens than off the driver. Maybe that's me. But its fantastic
Great ball all round, play them all the time and helped me to improve my handicap, still like the pro v and Srixon soft feel, but Bridgestone is the best out there in my opinion for quality and feel and putting

Great feel and sound

Srixon Z star’s are cheaper and IMO comparable and I’ve switched over and am more than happy with their performance for my game.
The zstars are the most overlooked balls imo. For me they're as long off the driver as a pro v1 and you can't beat the spin from 150 and in
Was hoping to see the bx too and maybe the other models on the course. Some ppl test them but at different swing speeds. Would be cool to see the slower swing speed balls played at a higher speed

I played the BXS for a long time. Then I found the Srixon Z-Star and found the feel off the putter was so much better. Great review, Matthew!
Loving the RX version for my 95mph driver swing.
Love these balls! Best trick is purchase the 2019 versions. They are only $29-35 USD!
Matt, seeing your review I can't help but want to see you use it for one of your "in the red" rounds. To get the full experience of the ball. Please please please would you do that??

Hi matt could you do a review on the tp5 little triangle design on them I recently played a round where I hit a tree on 2 different holes then on the tee it sounded cracked on inspection the outer shell was in tact
BXS and RXS....SUPERB. BXS stopping power on green superb
In the wind there is great control too!
🔥🔥🔥
Pro V1s are $72.99 CAD before tax now, and B XS are 64.99. For my game I get the same performance out of a Wilson Triad that's $49.99 so I'll stay with those.
Wilson Triad is a great ball, but ball snobs won't play it.
@Randy Mahony I love the damned thing myself. Plays just like a Chrome Soft X but 30% cheaper
I have used them for a while now and they are great for my game
Have used these and really like them. Would be interesting to see them vs Srixon z star (inc XV) as they're both the same price point
Been using Bridgestone's since the days of the Precept, and Tiger's been using them at least 20 years supposedly, they're the only balls I buy!
Great ball. I’ve gamed it for a while now.
Matt Fryer is the golfer that came to my mind as the greatest.
Ya got one of those free boxes you can send me?
Would love to see a longer term test, use it for a few rounds or challenges see how you really feel
Used the same ball over 7 rounds and it’s still fine, not many marks on it and no drop in performance
Bxs is my all time favorite ball. It’s the only ball I can actually see a difference in
What’s your driver loft? Thanks
On the course, the ball is longer as in the studio. (this Dimples and air)
This ball and Mizuno blades...🥰
And it performed ober years, like the B330s and the Nike Platinum(made by Bridgestone).
Tiger played them all and he know why🤗 ...and i too😇
My favorite ball by far
I played the Bridgestone rbs, but I didn't get the distance I got from the prov1x left -.
I use these occasionally. Longest ball I’ve hit but it’s noticeably heavier than other balls and not a huge fan of the feel off the putter
Just love this balls !!
Matt can you review the tour B x, that's the ball giving tiger extra yardage, but less greenside spin than tour b xs
Always play them in summer when it's warmer! Don't perform as well in the cold!🏴
Great informative video Matt, has anyone ever told you that without a cap you look like Bill from guess who 😂
Have you tested the Tour B RXS Matt?
looks fast off your putter and approach to green wedge a bit fast..definitely going to try them, thx
few people i no use Bridgestone and wont use another ball as they feel it works for there game.ive got a few that ive used in practice but when out on course prefer a callaway
try the wilson triad, and the wilson staff model
I play that ball because it suits me and my golf play (🎤 drop) 🏌🏻♂️
I have every type of the Bridgestone ball (inc tiger woods version). My mum got a load of brand new 1s from the charity shop for dirt cheap 😂 won’t b playing them though as I’ll just lose them! 😂
I used to play the Bxs I changed to pro v 1x. I’m not really sure why I did. The bxs was good only thing I didn’t like was how soft it felt off the putter
Tiger now uses the tour b x (the bryson ball)
uh, Tiger actually used the Bridgestone Tour B X at the Master's (not the XS)
The dimple pattern looks like the old Callaway Hex series balls.
I switched to these last year from Pro V1x. I found them to be better and a lot cheaper. Walmart carries them locally at $32.99 a dozen.
I get them online secondhand, lake balls £20 for 24 balls, never use anything else ,why would you at that price, absolutely brilliant ball
Are you testing the ball on the thumbnail as well (B RXS)? Something I find problematic about balltesting is that producers of golf balls don't sell testing packs with different balls. Her were I live in Norway, they don't sell sleeves of three. Only packs of 12 balls are for sale.
I bought a dozen of the Woods Bridgestone Bs for 48 Euros. Not cheap.
I'm surprised you've never seen these balls but there is a Tiger Woods autograph the version which has a little more spin
Just put the BX in play, green side spin is world class….. and…. Not over full wedge spinny. El tiger has actually switched to the X and not the Xs….
Been playing them all season and haven't thought about another ball. Buy the trifecta box and its $36/dozen. Best ball i've ever played and cheapest by far in its class. If tiger uses them, why don't you?
Srixon XV man myself
