Thats my dream bag. Couldnt afford it for awhile but hopefully my career will take off really well to purchase one in future❤
I have this bag in navy with silver hardware. Congrats! In many ways it is more functional than my birkin as it has the shoulder strap. This model came out many years before the birkin and is equal or better in my opinion. It is also nice that it is not so recognizable as luxury on the street. Enjoy!
Just bought my first Delvaux Tempete MM from the New York Boutique this week. Yes, I paid full retail and am thrilled with the bag. So thrilled with the bag, I called the SA to ask whether another I have my eye on is available. The quality is amazing. Like you said, if you know, you know!

Love the new bag. I have heard of Delvaux & their quality. I actually like that the interior is a light color. Makes it easier to see/find your items than when you have a dark interior.

Yes the side straps are very versatile and its nice that actually they dont mean you can’t open or close the bag

Love the Hermes Kelly belt! I have to tell you, they are addictive, I started with black and palladium, now have black and rose gold and gold with palladium!
PS also regarding the Kelly belt, the Hermes yellow gold is very yellow, which imo is beautiful on their bags, but it is a bit too yellow for a belt, for me the rose gold is more subtle around the waist.

Yes sometimes they can be functional but sometime just get in the way! It’ll be nice to have one large compartment

I would just use a small Kelly bag in the evening because it is a little bit challenging to get in and out of and I would enjoy that bag. However, I love your choice in this bag and it is beautiful and practical especially the quality of the leather and by far the most it is easy to get in and out of I love how the silver hangs down it is gorgeous and an excellent choice.
I checked them out in London but they are expensive too but same quality as a Hermes

I hope you do a review later on. I'm from Belgium en it started as a Belgian brand. My stepmom was a big lover of Delvaux and had many bags. I would have picked a smaller model in a bright colour. But the black is a classic.

I want a Kelly as well, I've always wanted a Kelly - since GP in a perfect murder, that bag started my love of fashion ... I've decided to save the 3000 and 2000 or whatever dollar ( USA here) on these, yes designer and beautiful but inspired bags, and when I go to Japan finally get the 32 vintage style Kelly that I really want

I’ve definitely heard of Delvaux. There bags are so beautiful. I’m planning to gift myself one as a graduation gift in May and the one I was considering is the same one you bought or the size smaller so looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
I think the tempete is beautiful. I was eyeing on the smallest size but the weight put me off. The quality isn't as nice as hermes but I am ok. The price is different too.

Hey, so far it’s been amazing no issues. This type of leather does show marks / scratches but I regularly clean it and it cleans it up nicely
