    Beautifully said and easily understood and embraced. For some reason this reminded me of the book
    from start to finish by Maurice Sendak, Where the Wild Things Are. “And now,” cried Max, “let the wild rumpus start!”
    “And (he) sailed back over a year and in and out of weeks and through a day and into the night of his very own room
    where he found his supper waiting for him and it was still hot.”

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love that book! Yes it's really so! And I was after kundalini (and experiencing it) until I realized all we really need is a little rise of Prana, and the sense of self goes with it. Falling back to the brain. "Where Supper is waiting," all this time.

    • @dianecurran8277

    I can do khechari mudra without any tension on the frenulum, by making a vacuum in the mouth (removing all the air, obviously), more specificaly, pulling the soft palate down, with time your tongue muscles will become so strong, that you can easily put it behind the uvula and then up the soft palate.
    Pulling the soft palate down is the same as lifting the tongue upwards, the only difference is where you're aplying the force, but is the same goal.

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's great Lucca. Everyone's mouth is a little different. It's great you found success that way, as Nityananda suggests.

    • @kantamasters
      @kantamasters 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you explain more clearly how to "pull the soft palate down'? I have to gently push my tongue toward the opening and then I am in kechari. I have been doing Talabya Kriya yet I haven't had much luck strengthening my tongue so as not to have to use the assist of my finger.

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kantamasters that's because the soft palate needs a stretch. You can do this by repeatedly pushing the tongue through, or if you can hook your thumb on the soft palate you can pull it towards your teeth and so stretch it. If you have questions about that you can call me and I'll walk you through it.

    • @kantamasters
      @kantamasters 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just started the Tranquil 4th phase breath. I now combine HRV, Tranquil Breath, Om Japa (focusing on the belly to reduce fear), and the Three Locks into my meditation. What I can say for sure is I have deeper meditations and way more control of the sexual impulse and other cravings. Overall, it's been a great blessing :)
    You also mentioned diet. I would love to hear more in subsequent videos about this. I know it's a touchy subject, but I just started a low carb, high fat diet and it's been beneficial to me. Would love to hear more of your thoughts.

    I discovered lots of things about us humans. One of them is that by using the tongue to put pressure on the hard palate, as well as swallowing properly, and keeping good posture throughout the day can help expand our airways, making respiration much more efficient.

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would suggest it is your inward concentration, and posture, which is affecting the rate of you breath. What I teach primarily on this channel is to do this in concert with the heart in Resonance. We call this HRV Resonate Breathing. You might like it, as it will multiply the results you're already getting.

    Hi Forrest. I’ve been experiencing things moving inside for almost six months straight now. Sometimes it is very scary, like the energy is trying to leave my body. It has been very difficult to make my days productive. I’m not sure what to do. Is there anything I could do?

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Take some long calming breasts and focus on the medulla. If that doesn't help practice grounding exercises. It's also helpful to get some extra vitamin B and vitamin D because these are often used up in an experience. Watch all of my Kundalini videos so for example Kundalini in a car. try and understand that these are the subconscious movements through the body. So for example you breathe in and you breathe out and you don't have to think about it your subconscious does that for you. This just happens to be one of the primary things that a yogi will feel inside of himself that everything is moving. That's right it's been moving all this time and you've lived all this time so you're going to be just fine. In yoga we are moving from the left brain to the right brain. And during that process we lose the awareness of our body but we should not be losing our awareness. So I'm telling you you're not going to die far from it. You are consciousness might be asking you to go into that expansive experience of the right brain but it will not happen if you're not ready for it.

    Is it normal to have a first experience of this centered in the third eye? I had several sleepness nights about a month ago that took me into the feeling of emptiness, and then my body came alive energetically, like I was on fire, and began doing all sorts of movements on its own, arching my back, opening my mouth like there was a bowling ball passing through it etc. During the day I felt like I was being dragged into the back of by head.
    Things have since quieted down somewhat, but my throat and heart have begun to come online in a similar way to what my third eye had done. I'm particularly aware of my throat which feels like it has a snake in it.

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, all of these are normal "kundalini" symptoms. It's the conscious becoming aware of the subconscious. If it ever becomes too much, talk to your Unconscious before you sleep, and ask it to Go Ahead and quiet these symptoms down for you.

      Yes that's correct that's what I'm saying, however it is spiritual and that you are so much more aware of everything going on inside of you, you are integrating with your subconscious brain waves, and you are beginning to separate yourself from Total identification with the body. So very spiritual and very much a subconscious Awakening.
