If you’re struggling to get by you should be looking for a job. Working for someone else is the easiest money out there. A disc-resurfacer is a very low-level purchase that should not seem unobtainable.

That’s probably safest, however I only do that if it’s a replacement jewel case. I’ve never had a normal cd case fall apart on me, but it probably happens.
I have been selling DVDs on eBay for about 8 months and it going really well. I have been un-gated on Amazon and sent in 60+ DVDs in 2 months ago. All at or under lowest prime price, and under 100,000 sales rank. Haven’t sold a single item. Do I just need more inventory on Amazon? Or is this normal?

I am new DVD sellers but heard someone talking about selling DVD from thrift store find without receipt is kinda risky..If you ever received the complains from customers you will receive a ding from Amazon. Amazon will ask you to provide a copy of receipt to prove it's authentic. How do you deal with that? Thanks for your info.
I didn’t say that, I said I never received it from a DVD. One time in 2016 I got an IP complaint for selling anti-virus software. It was webroot and I called them to get them to remove it. But that is the only IP complaint I’ve received in my entire career, although I am pretty cautious about reselling popular stuff like top Top 100 DVDs or popular textbooks.

If you go into the account health page of your account, it says that info. I don’t check it regularly so I don’t know the exact numbers. But there’s a reason that hundreds of thousands of people sell on Amazon and it’s not bc they all get banned.

@@floridadude6983 Check your local video game reseller store that isn't gamestop. 99 times out of 99 they'll have a professional resurfacer they'll charge like $1-5 per disk, but no guarantees. Sometimes disks are too far gone.
LOL I have never seen a DVD for sale in the Salvation Army store in my town of 18,000. In fact, that opening shot shows more DVD's than are in all the "Goodwill" stores within 25 miles of here combined. And they ain't selling them for 50 cents!

The best place around is Catholic Charities, but even on half price days, it is slim pickings.
I live in a city of 300k and there is not a single thrift store with a fraction of this selection. Usually you get 10-30 dvds tops and maybe they will have the discs still i side. The only store in the entire city with this many dvds is a used games store that has thousands but they sell for the max amount, not for $1.
I had hundreds of DVDs listed on eBay. Some brand new, and they just sat there. No views at all. Come to discover other people was listing the same movies for $2 brand new. Seems you have under cutters to keep someone from making any money.

I just posted (on my channel’s community page) a screenshot of a seller who sells tons of disc only DVDs. All you have to do is look at the used listing condition notes on any Disney DVD and you’ll see that it’s an acceptable and safe way to sell media.

Yeah. It’s not the cheapest deal but it’s made me my money back on it tenfold. I got mine used for $750, which I think was a steal.
