The Currier & Ives prints were well worth the $18.00 ea. It would probably cost twice that much or more if you had the prints and took them to be framed. They were beautiful.

Furniture bought from Good Will, Second Hand Stores etc., are worth buying and recovering. They were made to last and not throw away as is normal in our throw away society.

Used furniture in america is so cheap. Amount you get to choose from in one shop is amazing. I brought a excellent leather sofa from wayfair. In PA they spray chemical on fabric chairs to kill any bed bugs. I dont think I like the fact it has chemicals on the fabric. I'd like to think people dont drop off bed bugged items. I've never had a issue when buying used little girl clothes or character duvet covers.
