The flesh has no power over those who have truly been Born Again. This is what the flesh of a born again believer is: The flesh is the fleshy tissues of our physical body that has the law of sin and death present in those fleshy tissues. The law of sin and death exerts a force in the members of our body that has the power to make us sin even when we do not want to sin, The law of sin and death is in our fleshy body members because it is still there from Adam's fall because our body is not changed when we are born again, only our spirit man and heart are changed. The way to overcome the flesh is reckoning Galatians 2:20 for yourself with your mouth every day that you are crucified with Christ and now he lives in you, and then Romans 8:2 where you ask the Holy Spirit out loud with your mouth to enforce the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus in the flesh of your mortal body which sets you free from the law of sin and death. If you do that in the morning and in the evening every day you will be able to overcome the flesh. You should also ask our Father in heaven to then give life to your mortal body by his Holy Spirit by filling your mortal body with the fullness of his righteousness, and receive that from him, every day. You then should yield your body members to him to be used as instruments of righteousness by him every day and every night as well. If you do that you will overcome your flesh and walk in the Holy Spirit. You will have put off the old man, be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. This is how you overcome the flesh. You interact with God like that to overcome the flesh. Your flesh corrupted.
