Coke Studio a lot of time mixes two different song and sometimes add additional lyrics only written/added for these sessions so they can seem likes two different melodies but the message resonates throughout, its what the show is about. Coke Studios focus a lot of on long length songs focusing on poetry and repeating it along with giving focus and time to individual musical artists not only vocalists...we love this kind of music it must sound v new and different for western musicians i am sure, a cultural shock i would say, you just have to get used to it as i can say a talented musician like yourself have no trouble appreciating and understanding a good song no matter the style, genre and where it is from. P.S: no idea bout those beats u mentioned...would love to hear your song Persia

I love it... Coke Studio is unique in the sense that it kind of could be looked at as a hub not only for musicians in Pakistan but also for musicians around the neighboring countries... I hope Coke Studio come to aid of Iranian musicians for the Islamic Rep of Iran is against music and often jails musicians. Women still not allowed to sing in Iran 😬
One can easily recognize that you understand music very well because you wondered if the male’s singer part was part of the same song. The answer is no. The male singer part is added and it is in Urdu language and has nothing to do with the original Persian song.
