Hi Anthony, we're glad to hear you enjoy the TEKKO; this was an excellent video highlighting all the key features of the pack and your well-thought-out loadout. - Justin @ Vanquest
Man you squeezed a lot into that 4! I really like the new features and updatee style of the Tekko over the Dendrites, but I do feel the available depth from front-to-back is tight compared to the Dendrite. I have been working on dialing in exactly what my setup is going to be for mine, but leaning towards a minimalist urban type carry as the Tekko blends in great in that environment.
Yeah, man…It’s pretty crammed with this loadout, lol. For that reason, I bump up to the TEKKO-6 from time to time to give myself some breathing room. And yes, I agree on the depth being a bit tricky to work with compared to the dendrite. That is one thing that I wish was a bit different with this design….In fact, I’d love to see a variation of this bag with more depth (like the Dendrite) and no slots/pockets on the back panel - Just hook & loop so you could organize it your own way (while maximizing interior space). I know that isn’t the design intent though, which is why I didn’t touch on it in this video. But, I totally agree with you here 😀👍🏼
@@AnthonyAwaken I agree completely on that design update. I do greatly appreciate the bit taller height of the 4 over the Dendrite as it seems to ride better against the body (not surprising being this was designed specifically as a sling bag vs the dendrite as a fanny pack) and not want to roll like my Dendrite woukd sometimes feel like it wanted to do. Overall a great bag and definitely fills a spot in the bag world at a good price point. Just have to understand its limitations.
For healthier protein on-the-go options, Epic bars and Archer brand meat sticks are great. They're minimally processed as can be for such products and don't have ingredients you can't pronounce. Epic's got a Bison Bacon Cranberry Bar that's awesome, and the best price around for them is at Whole Foods. Archer's beef meat sticks are totally decent and are cheapest bought by the bag from Costco. Trader Joe's also has a turkey summer sausage that is fantastic.
Thank you so much for these recommendations!! I am definitely going to check these out the next time I'm at these stores. PS: Epic's Bison snacks are indeed fantastic! I've had those before.
@@AnthonyAwaken If you like cheese sticks, there's a brand called Galbani that has the absolute best flavor mozzarella (just make sure to get the whole milk ones, not the reduced fat ones). I get them from Food Lion in the refrigerated section. Even in the heat, they hold up for at least a day if you pack them sheltered from sunlight.
@@ColdHarborOP Awesome to know - Thanks for sharing! I typically bring cheese sticks along with beef sticks as a more substantial snack. That's great to hear that these hold up in the heat too!

Archer mini sticks are much better than Slim Jim’s!
I'm gonna have to try some of these. Thanks for the recommendation!
