alia KILLED THIS ROLE. she was absolutely fantastic
I love how Alia just listened with rapt attention the entire time Sanjay sir spoke. She asked her question and then didn’t interrupt once to complete his sentences or anything, just clearly showed that she was listening with her facial expressions. It’s clear that she respects him immensely.
If Passion ever takes a human form it would certainly look like Sanjay Leela Bhansali! Huge huge respect to this cinematic magician who’s strives to out do himself in each frame. The last of his kind in Indian cinema who is so proud of our art culture and the Indian heritage 🙏🏼

I honestly felt Alia was too young for this. But, she has done a good job. She is groomed from day 1 to be a star so such an outcome is expected. But, Sanjay Bhansali is legendary. I mean I'm an author myself, and I understand it is pure love for the craft that can take someone to the deeper pits of humanity. He is the God of cinema. Flamboyant cinema, which still projects rawness with such serenity and crudity - it's a visual treat from frame one.

Its a shame for me for not following sanjay leela bhansali for past years. I've seen couple of his films and I know he's been releasing a great craft but I've never watched it. After watching Gangubhai, his work made me search for his interview and man.. I can't believe I able to connect his words and passion towards cinema.. Whatever he says can relate to myself. Going watching all his movies one by one again. From now on you're one of master and inspiration for films sir. Hope to see more from you.. You're such a gem ❤

Bollywood's majority audience are either hindi speakers or the people who understands hindi, So why can't you guys chat in hindi so that everyone can watch? You can put subtitles for people who don't know hindi.
Learn from south industry how they speak in thier own language with each other, They use english only when its necessary. Even when i saw a spanish series (Money Heist) interview, They are talking in spanish not english. Aisa nahi ki they don't know english but its a spanish series so it makes sense for them to talk in spanish. Only in bollywood pata nahi kyun sabko english man banna hain.
@@niteshkumar13878 Your reply don't make any sense to me because even Hindi is official language of India and most importantly we are talking about Bollywood here, Bollywood is HINDI film industry not English. Of course this language was not stolen but it was imposed by the colonizer to us which we are speaking so proudly here. Never seen a country who are obsessed with a colonizer language than thier own mother tongue.
The non hindi speaking community which you are talking about will not be even 10%, More than 90% of Bollywood viewers are either Hindi speakers or the people who knows Hindi (Like me). Just to satisfy those no hindi speakers you are ignoring whole majority.. And i just gave spanish series as an example, European speaks in thier own language. Be it franch or german or italian and even KPop people who knows english but they speak mostly in thier language (Majority of Kpop viewers are not even korean btw)
And its not about India don't have single language its about the film industry, Telugu actors speaks in Telugu, Tamil in Tamil, Malayalam actor in Malayalam but why Hindi actors not in Hindi??? By your logic, Hindi mein kyun? lets make movie in English because its our official langauge and non hindi speakers will understand. Right? Lol

In Article 343 of Indian constitution, It is specifically mentioned that the official language of union shall be Hindi. However English is allowed in Parliament (Along with Hindi), Judiciary and the communication between Central and State government.
In conclusion, Article 343 declares both Hindi and English languages to be the official languages of India.
However there are various offical language in India at state level. States have power to declare it's own offical language. And Constitution of India recognizes 22 regional languages, which include Hindi but not English.
And I am not from North, I am from a Non Hindi state. (There are West, East and North East who are non hindi states too)
40% are native Hindi speakers, There are people like me who are not native speakers but knows hindi very well.. And if you add 2nd and 3rd language speakers of Hindi.. It will be around 60% or even more. And Thanks to Hindi I got to know people from different regions.

There was always something about Alia even before Gangubhai. She doesnt behave the typical 'lead heroine, glam doll' types....but comes across as a very regular girl. She has matured and this maturity is enhancing her beauty
