If you want an Ace Combat with good characters I recommend getting a PS2 somewhere and Ace Combat 5. It's got good characters and has the most epic finale possible. The game, along with others, does indeed use a dying language for the lyrics to the songs. Last but not least, the last two enemies had their names said wrong as their actually named after the ravens of Odin. I don't blame him for saying the names wrong given how that language is compared to English.
