this is the best metal version of the song I have ever found.
the added solo makes so much sense too, not crazy for the sake of crazy but well thought out.
I also really love the effect when the chorus starts.

I agree. I talked to Josh Locke the guitarist on the new battle toads ost. He's a great guy! His version also rocks. But not to sound like a jerk but I like this one from Ferdk more lolz.

You put the pause music into the song! Awesome. Battletoads had some awesome songs… many of which were overshadowed by the fact that everyone who played this game including myself kept dying in the turbo tunnel.
I am conflicted.
On one hand I have come across an excellent cover from Battletoads.
On the other hand it is the exact track from the level I still have nightmares about from when it traumatized me as a child.
You know what the sad part is? Turbo Tunnel is one of the easier levels in the game. Once you beat it, you've got the ice world (insta-kills galore!); another race, this time on surfboards with randomly placed obstacles; the snake pit from hell; ANOTHER race on planes this time (enjoy); then you're into the Intruder Excluder. This elevator shaft will end you over and over, including the Goo, the Fans That Eat You, the Deadly Gas, and a bunch of electrical zappy-doos that kill you instantly.
Once you get through that, it's time for the water level, Terra Tubes. This one is filled top-to-bottom with insta-kills enemies and other bullshit, including the Gears of Death. Get through that? Good! Time to race a rat down the other elevator shaft! He's faster than you, and if he beats you to the bomb, you die. Fun! Onto Clinger-Winger!
Oh good, another race. This one is absolutely brutal and literally impossible on 2-player mode thanks to a bug. You're running from a disco ball that is faster than you, and you have to take the turns faster than it does in order to beat it to the end, where it becomes the boss of the level. Oh, and you get no checkpoints. Have fun :)
Final level, The Revolution. One more precision platforming climb with only one checkpoint, then you're into the piss-easy final boss, and then, only then, have you beaten Battletoads.
@@alaeriia01 funny thing is when I used game genie to skip turbo tunnel, the rest of the game I didn't have too much trouble with.
Clinker winger is bad, but not turbo tunnel bad.

Battletoads has a really great soundtrack and Turbo Tunnel is one of my favorite songs in the game but my favorite of all is the Rat Race song. PS: That freeze frame moment with the Pause Beat song is amazing. Keep on rockin'!
Volkmire's Inferno is a damn badass freak'n outstanding theme too.
