Would this work for a 2023 model, I have a 10 bolt setup

If it is an X3, yes I believe it is the same.

So to put the bottom plate in, you didn't have to remove anything to get it in there? I have a similar set of dog bones I just got home henn racing, and havnt cut anything off yet cause I couldn't figure out how to get the bottom one in there, my hands to fat to do anything in that tight of an area lol... is there any tips or tricks to doing this?

Nothing specific. being tall and lean definitely helps me reach some trickier areas. Do you have any extended length pliers, or the ability to get one side started first and then push the other side into place? I don't remember having too much of a challenge getting the lower in.

What do you clean you buggy with. As in chemicals

I power wash it and then use Maxima SC1. If you check out my Instagram @gearhead.grind I have a good before and after picture I posted recently after a good cleaning.

Do you use two washers per bolt

Hello, they are nord washers if memory serves correct. These act as very efficient lock washers, but you do use 2 per bolt as that is how they lock together to function.

It is just a run of the mill Harbor Freight 3 Ton floor jack.

Sorry. I just don’t see the need for this. After you put on aftermarket radius rods, how often are you going to take this apart?

This is a valid point for most X3 owners, but for racing needs most cars will get a year down after every race to inspect the joints, the bolts, etc. So it becomes a bigger deal. Plus it makes it much easier to replace a radius rod if one gets bent or broken, and time is everything in racing.

Should you cut the builds off after you mark the holes.

You could have used the new bolts to line up the template

Too bad Can Am doesn’t make the machines sturdy to begin with.

I never had any problems with breaking anything in stock form, but when racing some things are just preventative.
