It's actually that they over-thought it and assumed the order was relative to the starting centerline (ie. implicit "return to original facing, _then_ face X") when it was just direct continuation from the previous step (in this case effectively returning to original facing). It's the kind of second-guessing yourself people do under pressure; at least Kiara and Reine explicitly made the same error.
Unless it was explicitly outlined that that was how the instructions needed to be carried out it's kind of weird to fail people on that It's no big deal though, it's not really a serious competition or anything like that It was just really really weird to see them fail on that last one when then they didn't turn 90 degrees on the first turn left anyway

4 out of 6 groups fell to that round. Inanya didn't even make it there because of Anya lol, and only Zetame defeated it.
So for those who confused with the ID facing instruction,
Serong = Half-Face (Turn 45°)
Hadap = Face (Turn 90°)
Balik = About-Face (Turn 180°)
