Cypress Hill don’t get near enough credit for there crossover work into the metal world. They literally just got off the Slipknot tour & I was lucky enough to see them in Chicago. & usually when Slipknot performs, most people there don’t care much about who opens up for them. But Cypress fucking rocked the house & got the crowd more then warmed up for Knot.

To everyone else; I was at this festival. Massive Deftones fan, massive Cypress fan.. This was the best combo ever - I had chills down my spine. Because I was like.. "Deftones is about to start.. I'll have to leave right away!"... but when Chino came up on stage, I was like.. F*%# it.. If he can make it to the next stage on time, then I can make it to the next stage on time.
One of the best festival experiences of all time for me.
(Next to The Prodigy at this same edition, I think.. And Fear Factory & SOAD at LL 2001... And Darkest Hour at Powerfest.. And hatebreed at Resistance Tour. And... sorry... too many good memories

Cypress Hill's so fuckin gangsta when there just rappin, imo they're at there best when there rappin in mexican xD but when they try to "rock" they suck xD allthough its awesome to see them with chino but they coulda just did a rap song and let him sing the chorus
