In my home, me and my brother hide the eggs for our parents to find! We also do hard boiled eggs not ones with money or candy. Fun idea though!
Georgia is plastic a thank you was candy and toys from school🎉

We use to slice the egg and layer it on to p of macaroni and potato salad that was one of our favorite part
For Easter Egg hunt with my kid's we I put foil wrapped eggs in plastic eggs.
In our family we never really do a big easter egg hunt usually my mom just hides one chocolate bunny or egg for each of my siblings and me and when we find it then we just eat it and then we colour boiled eggs.
Here in Australia we use actual chocolate eggs and we get lots of chocolate bunnies
My family puts the money and candy in eggs but we also hide hard boiled eggs and the plastic eggs on easter

i never did real eggs for easter egg hunts ever again after my daughter missed one and it started rotting and we id not find it until august 🤢
