I loved all those beautiful marbles you are finding Cathy and that Beautiful sign Drew Found. Wow. I want you Drew to enjoy your Retirement. Stay Safe and Healthy you guys.
Hi Randy! We have certainly been on a good run of marbles... But that yeast sign was a great find, for sure! We never know what a marble hunt will lead to. Yes, we look forward to Drew's retirement! Thank you for your kind comments and well wishes! -Cathy & Drew 👋😃😎👍
So sorry, Patricia ☹️. I was honestly trying to do it all in one video, at first. I had everything cleaned and photographed, but was nowhere near done editing the second half!😬 I know it was an abrupt ending. My apologies. Just wanted to get at least half of it up tonight. Once again another great video. Ian and I just love marbles and he’s trying to learn all about them. What a great sign Drew found it’s just a perfect size, another find for my wish list. Love your river treasure hunts with all the different things you find … 👍🏻👍🏻yay 🙂 xx(WCM)
Hi Louise & Ian! 👋😃😎👍 We certainly have been in the marbles lately!! But it was a long wait for these conditions. We had record rainfall last season, and could not access this site for months! But the heavy rains restocked the rivers 😁💖!Glad we went out when we did (ice drifts and all) cuz the water is high again!🙄 We still have some more river hunts to post though. And we are watching you also! Loved your outfit, Louise, we saw you lounging in, while bottle digging! 😂( No matter, I would still manage to get dirt in everywhere) BTW, you guys find a good variety of items as well! Always entertaining. Thanks! -Cathy (& Drew ) 😁😎🚣🌞
I went to Aruba for 5 days. Got in around midnight last night and couldn’t wait to walk my creek for marbles today. I had to wait for the rain to stop this afternoon and finally got to hunt with a friend. I found 6 and she found 7 marbles. Then got home and your weekly video posted. My heart is full.
Oh, what a nice comment! 🥰 Thank you so much! And congratulations on your marble finds.. Sounds like you've got a great spot now! Sorry if tonight's video seemed to end abruptly.. so many finds, I could not manage to get the whole thing done in time! More fun finds in Part 2 (already in the works). How was Aruba? I've never been there. -Cathy💖
I’ll be waiting patiently for part 2. I still have many previous videos on your channel to watch. Slowly getting down the list. Aruba was beautiful. Windy and hot temp 86-78 high and low every day. They have an island called sea glass island. I wasn’t able to visit. Old old trash site with old glass and marbles that’s been tumbled by the waves and glass is smooth. A couple other beaches where you can find sea glass but not like the amount or quality found on sea glass island. I did find a couple piece and old porcelain pieces on one beach. I very much enjoy your channel and all your finds.
@@Creekseekingadventures I didn't know that about the sea glass island! Bummer you didn't get to go there, but it sounds like you found some things, and the weather was (IMO) perfect! Our "marble river" is only accessible a couple of time a year, lately, due to high water from record rainfall the past couple of years. But we have other sites. It's helpful to have a rotation of sites, so they can "restock" between visits. Glad you're enjoying the vids.. Thanks for all your kind comments! -Cathy💖
Thanks! That yeast sign Drew found will go up in our kitchen, so I can look at it while making pizza dough! Also reminds us of a 3 stooges skit, they were making beer, "We ALL put the yeast in!" 😂😎👍
I never tire of all the beautiful marbles! And the Fleishmann's yeast sign was spectacular! I watched this episode with a late night cup of coffee. Thanks for the nice visit! 🐰
Hi Judy! 👋😃 I am glad you haven't tired of the marbles yet. Many more marbles in part 2 (in the works). That yeast sign was just as you saw it.. face up, on the river bottom! Sorry I couldn't manage the whole outing in one video.. I will show the total finds that day, in Part 2. Thanks for watching and commenting! -Cathy💖
Wow! you were on the marbles. That green and white one is just in time for St. Patrick's Day:) I've never seen a cleary that had a hidden glowing streak. I love the Fleischmann's sign. I look forward to part 2. BTW the pizza looked amazing!
Hi Kathi, Yes, Drew's sign was find if the day.. and as for the clearie.. I did not expect the glowing swirl, but I check EVERY marble with the black (UV) light. Even the plain white game marbles, cuz occasionally even those glow! I think the best marble finds this trip will be in Part 2. Oh, and thanks for the compliment on our homemade 🍕😃. -Cathy 😁💖

I don't recall finding any of their gin bottles (unless they were unembossed). Most of the gin bottles we find around here are Gordon's. Thanks for pointing that out, about their gin! -Cathy 🙂
Thanks for another nice video.Always great to see friends having fun.Hope you and Drew are happy and healthy.Your channel and southern searcher inspire me to be resourceful.SS saves necks and shards of rare stuff and has plans to restore bottles.A very noble calling.RC has loads of content. He mentioned your channel couple years ago and i subbed on the spot.Sending some Sunshine from PI.🌅🌞🏖️😎🍻🌭🍔🌮🏝️🍀🪺🌿🌱🌷🪻Spring is in the air.Been a while since i saw these early risers.God Bless 🇺🇲🗽🙏🌄
Hi Larry! 👋😃 Drew and I are getting out more, now that warmer days are popping up, here and there! We save glass too, although perhaps some will go to others to "up-cycle" or repair. Rare pieces are documented and archived, but most of what we find is not rare. We have given some items of local historical interest to our local historical societies, and have documented all our river finds for the past twenty years! And as you know, we also do river clean-up. RC has been very good to us over the years, and we never miss a video! We share a love for marbles, and mammals! 😄 🐿️ I'm glad we inspire you, although sometimes my silliness over marbles in the river seems.. well... silly. 😁 It's just fun, and I feel like a kid out there... And you never know what else may be found in the process! Good news: Drew will be retiring soon. Looking forward to it! 😎👍 Thanks Larry! -Cathy (& Drew) 🙂😎🐰🐿️🦔🦃🦌🌸🐦🇺🇸🙏🌞
